Dennis & Sara’s intimate Southern California elopement on Super 8.

Super 8 has quickly become my favorite medium. It is magical, nostalgic, and timeless but also fun and a little quirky. Learning a new medium has been fun yet challenging and a bit time consuming (because I am obsessed with learning it).. but it has been 1000% worth it in every way.

These two were so excited to get to Vegas that they forgot their rings in California. Thankfully their sweet guests let them borrow theirs.

When my husband and I got married here almost 7 years ago… we used twisty-ties because my ring wasn’t ready yet (so I totally get it)!

Happy New Year!! This was my last elopement of 2021 — Congratulations Marisa & Alex!

I had an incredible year of capturing love and beautiful moments. It’s been a very busy year (and especially busy this fall). I’m so excited and ready for all that 2022 will bring (after taking a couple of weeks off to edit and catch up on all the things!)

Pre wedding and honeymoon Super 8 clips for Jenn and Joe!

This was their pre wedding shoot at and out in the desert. As well as their honeymoon shoot in Palm Springs!

I now live in the Palm Springs area, so if you honeymoon or vacation in SoCal after your Vegas wedding, we might be able to meet up again for more fun and photos. 🥰

These two have become friends. From first meeting in 2018, to many emails and a rescheduled date, their pre-wedding shoot, their wedding day, and their honeymoon shoot. We saw a lot of each other and now I miss them so much. I just love when my couples become friends.

Thank you and for asking me to capture all of these moments and for being the sweetest couple and best clients. Thank you for introducing me to your incredible families and treating me like family. I love you and am so excited to see what the future has in store for you. You’re both so sweet and so talented, it was truly an honor to capture every beautiful detail and heartfelt moment. I hope to see you both (and your families — make sure you tell George he’s my favorite, haha) again soon! 🥰

And also editing several Super 8 videos right now too, which I love doing!

I may be a little biased but I think everyone needs a Super 8 video. :) There’s just something so magical about them.

I cry watching them and get so giddy while editing and adding the perfect song (which sometimes takes longer than editing, haha).

When I am finalizing the videos, I have my husband watch and he just smiles and says - wow, these are just so cool!
