I had an awesome evening with Allison last night, just a few days before she will receive her degree from Washington & Jefferson College!

I remember Allison from her involvement in the Ambridge High School Cross Country team just a few short years ago. And now she's prepared to head out into the world to put her psychology knowledge to good use. I know she'll be doing great things!

Congrats to all of those who are going to be walking across various stages this weekend. I'll be busy photographing many of them! If you have a graduate who would like to do a personalized setting on campus or elsewhere, get in touch!

It definitely wasn't one of our warmer nights in recent days, but last night worked out as a fine evening for a senior photo session with Paul nonetheless!

I've had the pleasure of knowing Paul through his involvement with the Ambridge high school band these past several years. And if I ever have a question about heavy metal music or general rock questions, he's definitely my go-to source!

Paul is set to graduate in just a few short weeks, and he's considering a number of trade opportunities from plumbing to fixing aircraft in his future. He will definitely rock whatever path he chooses!

There's still time if you would like to get some senior photos taken! You can get them in time for those graduation invites, etc... just get in touch!

With all of the excitement surrounding yesterday's launch of Artemis II, I thought I would re-share a video (originally VHS!) from my trip to see the space shuttle Atlantis launch at sunrise back on May 19, 2000.

It was truly one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed. I was part of the press group, and I had the opportunity to shoot it from the area by the countdown clock. I REALLY want to get down there for a launch with my current camera equipment one of these times!

My video camera at that time was pretty rudimentary, so the shuttle isn't well defined during liftoff, but I got some great photos of it (and included one at the end of the video).

It's always fun to be able to do assignments for Reuters News Agency, as my photos wind up being published in major news...

The other day I did a spontaneous drone special, getting shots of homes after the fresh snowfall. A few people asked me afterward if it would be cool to get drone shots of their houses with Christmas lights, and my answer is: Of course!

I did a few shots of our own house tonight as an example, not that I'm necessarily Clark Griswold. But you get the idea! If your house is all lit up and you'd like a few drone photos, let me know! I'll offer the same $50 (plus tax) special as I did with the snow drone photos the other day. ❄️☃️

It's actually pretty rare that we have a snowfall that sticks to the trees and looks really pretty, but we have that right now!

It's always nice to incorporate a student's interests into a senior photo session, and it's really cool when those interests include airplanes!

I really enjoyed my time with Adrien this afternoon as he's getting set to graduate with the Ambridge Area High School Class of 2026. His family has a plane, and he has been studying aviation at CCBC. When he finishes that course of study next year, he's planning to continue his education at Southern Illinois University as he works toward his goal of becoming a commercial pilot.

He has kept himself quite busy at school, participating in volleyball, football, cross country, and the ski club these past few years. He's also in band, our steel drum band, and he is a chorus manager.

Best wishes to Adrien for an awesome senior year and a great future... the sky is literally the limit for him!
