Meet our 2026 Grand Marshal: Linda Busse

If you’re able, pick up the MR Messenger and read all about her. Linda (owner of Linda’s Place) has been in town a long time (since 1983!) While she’s not working, which is almost never, she enjoys the little things in life—Sitting by a bon fire, ice cold RC Cola, lemon anything and watching buffalo!

Linda & her business have been big supporters of Amboy and Amboy Days over the years! Congratulations, Linda! You deserve it! She will be rolling through the parade right behind the fire trucks in the parade next Saturday at 4pm—be sure to wave! 👋

The kids pedal pull is a highlight event for us! We love to sponser this event with Stevens Drainage & Excavation (Bob Stevens)!

We will be grilling in our parking lot before, during and after the pedal pull! We will have an outside bar with canned cocktails and beer or a full bar inside. The Blue Dirt Road band will start at 6pm so bring the family and enjoy the first night of Amboy Days weekend!

Updated schedule of events-- the Blue Earth County Library will be joining our festival! They are bringing foam dinosaur bones-kids will be able to assemble big dinosaurs with them! If you participated in the Amboy summer reading events, you may be familiar!

Amboy will be buzzing this weekend! Let’s make the most of the last weekend before school starts!

Friday 8/28 106.5 Lakes FM will be in town at Kevin's Repair for the summer SxS giveaway! The event is 4-6 so plan to stop by Linda’s before and/or after to grab a drink, bite to eat and socialize!

Saturday 8/29 We have music by Brett Feist starting at 6pm! Grab your friends and come enjoy an evening of music, drinks and eats!

We can’t wait to see new and old friends!
