Caprock Longhorn Band The Pride of Caprock High School Band! The Caprock High School Band is made up the best and brightest students at Caprock HS.

We compete locally and in the surrounding area. We come from a variety of backgrounds, a variety of skill sets and interests, and we unite under a common goal.

Drew Zaremba will be giving free jazz clinics on Monday and Tuesday in the Amarillo College band room! He will cover Jazz Improv at 1pm and Jazz composition/ arranging at 2pm on Monday and Tuesday. Drew is the jazz composition faculty for the University of Northern Colorado and is a prominent saxophonist and keyboardist.

This weekend these 32 students traveled to Austin to compete in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest! We are so proud of all of these musicians and all of their hard work. Please help us congratulate them!

Solos earning Superior rating and a gold medal:

Solos earning an Excellent rating and silver medal:
Jacob Ferguson, Suzette Hernandez, Rafael Medina, Angel Perez, Lin Mai, Lucas Sanchez, Jayden Cisneros

Our Clarinet Ensmeble , Saxophone Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Trumpet Trio, and Percussion Ensemble, also earned an Excellent rating for their performance. Members were:
