Public Statement from The Bliss Venue
It has come to our attention that a couple who hosted their wedding with us a few months ago has shared a public statement regarding their experience at our venue.
First and foremost, we are deeply saddened to hear of their disappointment, and we sincerely apologize for the challenges they faced on what was meant to be one of the most joyful days of their lives. At The Bliss Venue, we strive to provide every couple with an unforgettable and seamless celebration.
That said, we feel it is important to address and clarify some of the misleading information included in the post. This particular wedding took place during an unforeseen natural disaster, which led the City of Amarillo to declare a state of emergency and resulted in a widespread power grid failure. This situation placed not only our team, but other wedding venues within the area, and the entire city in a state of crisis. Despite the circumstances, we worked diligently with the limited resources available to uphold the highest possible standards for the event.
While these conditions were beyond our control, we fully acknowledge that they impacted this couple’s special day, and for that, we are truly sorry.
Since that time, we have reflected deeply and taken meaningful steps to grow, improve, and implement stronger contingency plans. The experience has informed us on how we approach future events, and we remain committed to exceeding expectations.
We also encourage the public to seek accurate information regarding our venue, including drink pricing, booking procedures, and building operations. Transparency and integrity are core to how we operate, and we welcome any direct inquiries for clarification.
