Howdy! I feel like it’s time to reintroduce myself because it’s been a hot minute and I’m not the best at keeping up with social media. 🤪
I’m Lyndzey! Owner of Wildflower Design + Events. I officially started WD+E in 2020, after closing my boutique - The Pretty Pistol. I’m married, have two beautiful kiddos, two spoiled dogs, and currently two ornery sheep that live in our backyard (Mario & Peach). I graduated from Texas A&M (whoop!), grew up in small town America, have a love of fashion, and could live on chips & salsa.
WD+E was a calling on my heart to act on my creative passion for event coordinating. I graduated from TAMU with a BA in Horticulture and a minor in Event Management. My original intent was to become a florist and own a flower shop 💐 although I love designing florals, I also fell in love with event planning and coordination, and decided to focus more on that. As we all know, life changes and I ended up in the Oil & Gas industry which led me to Decatur, TX and my full-time job as Manager, Client Engagement at Energy Worldnet, Inc. Which I also LOVE! 🤍 In 2020, I knew I had to close my Pretty Pistol chapter and do something I had loved and yearned for, for many years. And then Wildflower Design + Events was born.
I’ve been blessed with A M A Z I N G couples over the last 4 years. Truly, THE BEST. I’ve created new friendships and relationships with my clients as well as their families and that is the thing I cherish most about this journey. I’ve also been blessed to work with talented vendors across Texas and beautiful venues. Especially, Flying V Ranch Event Venue here in Decatur, TX.
