We're sad to announce that Skylynd Brown won't be able to join us for Xorillion LIVE at McGarvey's due to unforeseen circumstances. But, we're so grateful to be welcoming back Alyssa Malvoisin to the McG's mainstage in her place!!

Alyssa is an uber-talented singer-songwriter who was just featured on the Save Point Podcast, the Eighty Unplugged Show, and featured in our Queens of Culture Night. Alyssa's voice has already tugged heartstrings of listeners from the midwest to Nashville, and we're hype to have her back here in Altoona for another R3C show.

See you all from 9PM to Midnight tonight at McGarveys Bar with Xorillion and Mason Stumpf!

We’re less than 48 hours away from welcoming Xorillion to the McGarveys mainstage! Before our 5-piece headliners light up the room, we want to shine a spotlight on the two powerful performers opening the night.

First up: Mason Stumpf, an award-winning singer-songwriter blending acoustic pop, country, and worship influences. Fresh off a local live performance with Ethan Eckenroad, this Grange Fair Idol is ready to bring his powerful vocals to McGarvey’s for the very first time.

Second: Also making her McGarvey's X R3C debut, Skylynd Brown takes the stage with a sound that cuts deep. Her sultry soul tones weave through indie, rock, and grunge with ease. And with just a guitar and microphone, Skylynd has a way of pulling the whole room into another world.

Come early, stay loud, and help us give all three acts the energy they deserve.

TODAY'S THE DAY Y'ALL! And we've got some exciting announcements about the last 2 artists in our Local Motive: A Hip Hop Showcase line-up.

Just before the headlining act, we've got Altoona's own (by way of Philadelphia) Traphouse Bonez. Bonez is a co-founder of Tha Traphouse Battle League, an underground Hip-Hop empire in Philadelphia, PA. Last year, Traphouse made waves on the mainstage at the Blair County African American Heritage Festival, as the first notable Philadelphia-raised artist to bring Battle Rap flows to Railroad City.

Our headliner, No-Label, has been grinding his way to the top of the Central PA rap game on a mission. You may recognize him as one of the founders of/MC's for the annual Grassroots: Local Artist Showcase and as a featured artist from 2023's Mass N Tha Grass Music & Arts Festival | Altoona, PA. Fresh off recording sessions with Pittsburgh's own platinum-album producer, Big Jerm from ID Labs, he'll be rocking the stage with all kinds of new RnB-driven Hip-Hop.

We'll see you in front of the stage, watching both of these artists light up McGarveys Bar tonight. Show starts at 9PM and runs to Midnight. First 7 folks to the door get their cover charge paid for by MA Floyd.

This weekend, we've got JB Th3 Gunna and Sidk Baxter bringing real movement, roots, and Hip-Hop presence to the mainstage for Local Motive: A Hip Hop Showcase.

You may recognize JB Th3 Gunna from the mainstage at the 2025 Blair County African American Heritage Festival (which was co-organized and MC'd by us!). This Pittsburgh Indy Rapper has made a HUGE impact on the Railroad City Music scene, popping up at the Rhythm & Roars Show in March at Funky Claude's and featuring in the Talk of the Town Hip-Hop Podcast with Amin Cash.

Johnstown-Native Sidk Baxter is the founder and CEO of Reverse Normal Productions LLC. Inside and outside of Flood City, she's been part of the culture for years as an organizer and promoter. She also set the standard for Hip-Hop and RnB artists at the original Rebirth of the Blair County African American Heritage Festival back in 2022.

Come get cultured with us this Saturday at McGarveys Bar from 9 PM to Midnight. AND the first 7 folks through the door get their $10 cover fee paid by MA Floyd!

Local Motive: A Hip Hop Showcase is about to be OFF. THE. RAILS.

We're hype to announce our show-opener from Johnstown, PA by way of Brooklyn, NY: El M Kapone. For his FIRST SHOW LIVE IN CENTRAL PA, this Flood City artist is bringing raw NY street-style rap, one-of-a-kind energy, and family influences connected to the worlds of Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee.

After that set, we've got Altoona, PA-born-and-raised TEV Pulcine coming to rock the stage with M ASAP. Their set's rooted in real storytelling, and is 100% written, recorded, mastered, and performed by and for Central PA. Y'all may recognize them from R3C's Grassroots: Local Artist Showcase, the mainstage at the Blair County African American Heritage Festival 2025, and the after-hours performances at Mass N Tha Grass Music & Arts Festival | Altoona, PA.
