We’re the Rice Residence – Bob (pitmaster and mess maker), Micaela (hospitality queen, heart of the house, & clean up committee), and our two boys: Hayden (8, full of questions and energy) and Bennett (1, full of smiles and snacks).
At Burnt Offerings BBQ, we’re more than just a barbecue business — we’re a husband and wife team who love Jesus, love people, and believe in the power of a shared meal. We started this company with a simple vision: to bring people together through faith, food, and fellowship.
Our name, Burnt Offerings Barbecue, is deeply rooted in Scripture. In the Bible, burnt offerings were given as a sign of complete dedication to God (Leviticus 1). That idea struck a chord with us — we want everything we do, from the meals we serve to the conversations we share, to reflect that same wholehearted devotion.
Barbecue is slow, intentional, and best enjoyed in community — much like faith. Whether it’s a backyard meal, a church gathering, or a family celebration, we believe something special happens when people sit down to eat together. We’re here to serve up food that feeds the body and moments that nourish the soul.
