Long “thank you” post ahead 💚💚

While I had a year to help plan for and get some things made and gathered for Tristan & Mekenzie’s wedding, (and Mekenzie did sooo much on her own!…I mean, she pent a year thrifting purposefully mismatched, meaningful vintage plates and table wear 🥹), fresh florals and even silk arrangements that need to be built on site have to wait until you are at the venue.
I want to say a special thank you to my other daughter in law, Cassie Willard, for stepping up to help with all of that! From loading my car, leaving 2 days early, transporting all the fresh flowers 3 hours away, unloading, arranging, setting tables, holding babies, offering to do anything that needed to be done…..she was a rockstar. The organization to my chaos! Thank you, Cassie! I appreciate you so much!
Also, if you don’t have friends like Mekenzie and Tristan have, get some new ones! They took charge and helped with everything the night before, the day of, and all the cleanup after!!
And last but not least, my best friend, Cynthia Smith stayed up with us until the early morning hours cleaning and packing up as well! 🩷🩷

My daughter in law wanted a simple calla bouquet, so as not to overshadow the beautiful details of her dress. We used large and mini callas, lisianthus and hanging amaranthas.
Large pedestal and floor arrangements were created using real touch callas, hydrangeas, wisteria, liatris, roses, anthurium, and assorted ferns and greens. 🤍🤍 I was too busy living in the moment, and I didn’t take many pics of the flowers 🤷‍♀️😅

Sharing again as a reminder!!!! I know there is a funeral Friday, so if you need to order for that, I can deliver to the funeral home Thursday morning before I leave town.
