The BIG GIG Local Music Show

Alton Main Street and Riverbender.com are announcing the 6th Annual BIG GIG Local Music Show set for Saturday, July 26th on two outdoor stages in Downtown Alton. Six local bands are hired to provide entertainment for this free event, and the band who generates the most supportive crowd will return on Saturday, September 20th to perform at Riverfront Amphitheater during the Mississippi Earthtones F

estival. The crowd will enjoy food & beverages on the street as well as artist booths and activities throughout the event grounds. The 2014 lineup is as follows:
The Big River Band (Jam Band) - 5:30-6:15
Mars Needs Guitars (Classic Rock) - 6:15-7:00
C.C. Wilson & The Owlz (Blues) - 7:00-7:45
Blackwater '64 (Modern Rock) - 7:45-8:30
Jay Love (R&B / Hip Hop) - 8:30-9:15
River City Sound (Punk Rock) - 9:15-10:00
