Before your event: we help you think through every single detail, create your layout, and make sure nothing is left to a 'we'll figure it out day-of' situation. We've done this 200 times. We know exactly where the bumps in the road are — and we'll steer you right around them.

Day of: we’ve set up all tables & chairs, we're here the whole time, we welcome your guests, we answer questions, we hop on the golf cart.

Because we're not just a beautiful building. We're the people inside it who genuinely care how your day goes. We laugh with you, we check on you, and we don't clock out until you do.

Upcoming brides — this one's for you. 👰

You're already juggling a hundred details. The last thing you need is someone struggling with a boutonniere pin while your photographer is waiting, or a pin snag on your mother's dress she hunted weeks for.

Pocket boutonnieres just slip in. Wrist corsages slide on. Done in seconds, stays all night, and nobody's fabric gets touched.

This set went a step further — each groomsman's boutonniere held a photo of him and the groom together. A quiet little moment of meaning that the guests couldn't see, but the guys absolutely did.

May in Virginia is absolutely beautiful— and completely unpredictable. Just look at this past week alone: last weekend sunny and warm, this weekend chilly and rainy.

And honestly? That's exactly why Southern Granary works so well for a May wedding. 🌿

The reception room, Bridal Suite, Groom's Den, restrooms — every space is fully climate controlled. Whatever May decides to do outside, your day stays perfect inside.

We recently had the privilege of hosting something different here at Southern Granary — a Celebration of Life.

An estimated 350 people from the community gathered to honor a husband, a father, a son — and to surround his family with love and support. The Patio held the service, the inside filled with people sharing food and memories, and the space held all of it.

It was a reminder that gathering — really gathering — matters in every season of life. And that showing up for each other is one of the most important things we can do.

We are grateful to this dear family for trusting us with such a meaningful day, and honored to be a place where the community can come together when it counts most. 🤍
