How do I get a carousel to post widescreen? I haven’t posted in forever. I honestly haven’t done much in relation to videography over the past year. I needed it. I’m still taking it slow though. I avoid being on the computer as much as possible.

I’ve got two weddings this year and so far I’m okay with it. Last year I ended up filming 4 weddings and it was such a welcome break compared to the busiest year I ever had in 2023.

Taking on as many weddings as I can is not for me. It destroyed my mental health and I am through chasing the dream of bringing in a full time income. Chasing this “dream” ended up making me dread filming. I didn’t want to quit, I just needed a break.

I wanted to share some video postcards with you because to be honest, Instagram is not my fave and it feels less stressful than posting a full video no one will even watch besides the bride and groom.

Welcome to Wallingford Film’s new look!!

As I’m coming to the end of my burnout season I decided my brand desperately needed an overhaul. helped me find and refine the words I have always struggled to describe my reason for offering wedding videography. I truly am preserving heritage through heartfelt films.

What does that mean?
I make your wedding film with the intent that your grandchildren will watch it one day and get to see their beloved grandparents in a totally new light. We’ve all seen photos of our grandparents wedding day, but what we wouldn’t give to actually see and hear footage from that day right?! That’s why I’m still here filming weddings a decade later. Weddings give us such a unique glance at our family. Multiple generations and extensions of the family show up. It’s one of the biggest family affairs you experience in your lifetime. I want to document that for you and know you’ll love showing all those who come after you what you sounded like on your wedding day.

I have lots of 2024 availability so please reach out to see if I have your date available. 9.5/10 chances I do.

About Me

My name is Alix Wallingford and I have been passionate about videography since 2014. I have loved developing, growing, and sharing my talent with others. I am known for quick turnaround times and affordable pricing. When I’m not filming or editing, I enjoy catching up on TV shows (currently Brooklyn Nine Nine), cuddling with my husband and our dog, Molly, and exercising. My favorite color is blue. I am a Virgo which means that I am a planner, and also have a very strong sense of paying attention to details. I am also an introvert/extrovert. I’m generally pretty shy but I also love talking!

I believe the coolest thing about wedding films is the ability to relive the moments of the day you and your spouse became one. Not only does it help you remember being in that moment, but it also helps you experience some moments you may have missed, whether it be a hug between family members, a silly dance move by your best friend, or the way your spouse was admiring you without you noticing.

As years pass, your wedding film becomes priceless and precious. With me as your videographer, I film your wedding day as an observer, capturing the details and things that are easy to forget. When you watch you will be reminded of family and friends that have passed on, young nieces and nephews that have grown up, and the promises you made that day in the exact moment they were promised. You will be able to share your wedding day with children and grandchildren and they will get to experience it as if they were there.
