Team Rockin’ Rackley’s made the trip to Texas to celebrate Christmas with our Steak Cookoff Association friends and family. Our journey began with a minor issue, a water leak in our trailer, which led us to abandon it and go old school. To make matters worse, I slipped and twisted my ankle.

Lauren, aka the Grillin’ Angel, demonstrated her culinary prowess by winning 1st place in the kids pork chop contest! I am extremely proud of her hard work and enthusiasm for cooking, whether it's grilling or baking with her Grammy. I’m one proud dad!!

Lauren and I worked together on Grinch cookies, which secured 3rd place in the Christmas cookies category. Our Christmas dessert also garnered a 9th place finish.

Although our steaks narrowly missed the top ten, we appreciate the opportunity to participate.

We would like to express our gratitude to the SCA,Brett,Shelly and crew for their dedication. We love and appreciate you guys so much! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend!!

Talk about an exciting weekend 😊 Team Rockin’ Rackley’s headed out to the Steak Cookoff Association’s Stars and Stripes BBQ Fest in beautiful Montrose Colorado.

When the dust settled we were blessed with:

1st 🥇 in Dessert 🍮
6th in Cheeseburger 🍔
12th in Steak A less than a point out of the top 8 🥩
16th in Steak B 🥩 failed miserably lol “user error”

Qualifying us for the 2025 SCA World Championships for a 5th consecutive year!

Congratulations to everyone who heard their numbers called. Thanks Tito and Paul for the help and fun! Let’s do it again!
