Cat is a force. It has been such an honor to play a small role working with her with M&M Elite Events on this year's BAMS fest, It what will be an incredible weekend and an even more important springboard to more inclusive programming in the City of Boston.

Now in its fifth year, the city’s festival of Black music and culture is not only persisting, it is expanding. Morris wouldn’t have it any other way.

A good event planning brainstorm has feedback from multiple sources, a goal in mind, and action steps. A great brainstorm is all of these things plus an expert who can help to execute from start to finish. Contact me for a second set of eyes or initial consultation: https://www.daylaarabella.com/

The talent you hire and when you hire them is more of an art form than ever before, as the programming of live events mounts its comeback while hybrid events continue to be the format of choice. Negotiating contracts in uncertain times means including clauses for quick pivots from live to hybrid , and potentially having prerecorded options at the ready, just in case of technical problems, global travel disruptions, or health-related concerns.

What an honor to produce Catholic Extension’s Inaugural Spirit of Francis Award Dinner at the The Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. a few weeks ago. The evening honored Sr. Carol Keehan, a Daughter of Charity and a trailblazing health equity advocate that has spent the last 50 years working to advance the plight of our nation’s poor and their struggle to access and maintain comprehensive health care.

In attendance, were Cardinal Gregory Wilton, Archbishop of Washington, Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago and CE’s Chancellor, and Apostolic Nuncio to the US, Archbishop Christophe Pierre who delivered a special message from His Holiness, Pope Francis congratulating Sr. Carol.

Working inside The Library of Congress was a unique experience and a nail-biter. It’s open to the public until 5 pm and your guests are walking in the door in exactly 60 minutes. Cue having some AMAZING event partners who made some magic happen on this quick flip. Thank you to the amazing team at The Library of Congress Susan Gage Caterers, , , , for making it happen so beautifully!
