OPERATION CHRISTMAS MEAL: Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation will be giving away pork loins at the Butler County Fairgrounds on December 10th from Noon to 1:00 PM!

UPDATE: ALL CAGES HAVE BEEN SOLD. Rabbit cages for sale! The fair has 3-hole and 4-hole cages currently for sale. We would like to get these sold before winter. $25 each on a first-come first-served basis! Take your pick and take as many as you would like. Call Mike Stirling at 319-269-5755. to arrange pickup and payment.

The Butler County Fair will be hosting the Fall Jackpot Cattle Show this coming Sunday, September 21st, beginning at 11:00 AM in the show arena! The public is welcome to stop by at watch!

We want to shout from the rooftops a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended our first but definitely not our last Butler County Vintage Market & Antique Show! The vendors were fabulous to work with and brought out top notch items to sell, the customers were ready to shop for that treasure they just couldn’t live without, the food vendors served some mouth watering food, our talented singer was more than amazing, and our volunteers were happy to help in any way possible. Thank you all for making the last 2 days better than we hoped for. We’ll be setting our 2026 date soon.

NEWS ALERT!!

We’re excited to announce that NAPA Auto Parts, of Parkersburg, will be paying for the first 100 people thru our gates, TODAY to the Butler County Vintage Market and Antique Show. Thank you Chad & Nikki Oldenburger for your continued support of the Butler County Fair!

Remember we’re hosting a free will pancake breakfast at 7:00-10:00 TODAY in the Maifeld Livestock Building, on the fairgrounds. Please use the North gate and park on any grassy area or park on the East side of the Maifeld Livestock Building.

We’ll have LIVE music TODAY, (SATURDAY) from 10AM to 1 PM at the Butler County Vintage Market & Antique Show, in Allison IA. You won’t wait to miss it!

We’re excited to announce we will have LIVE music by the outrageously talented, Jonah Carney. He will be performing from the Benzebo, just south of the Fred and Wava Maifeld and Family Memorial Livestock Building. Come shop, have a cold beverage, $2.00 per beverage, and enjoy some music and have a great time !

Who’s hungry for pancakes? Make sure you plan to attend the Allison Fire Department freewill donation pancake breakfast on the Butler County Fairgrounds tomorrow from 7 AM to 10 AM. Please use the North gate and drive around to the East side of the Maifeld Livestock Building. The East doors will be open.
