Golden Hour Barbecue

11/03/2026

Make your Thanksgiving worry-free with our Thanksgiving Packs!

They're perfect for those of y'all who want to focus on other things that Thursday while knowing you're still serving up an awesome meal.

Play board games, actually watch the football games, make a side dish with the kiddos, start a new tradition, or just chill on your phone like the rest of the gang. We've got you covered!

And if your aunts green bean casserole is the bomb & others are bringing side dishes, and all you need is a juicy smoked turkey breast to complete the meal — you can order à la carte, too!

Meet our new headliner:
Jason Johnson brings the sharp perspective of an Air Force veteran and the relatable humor of someone who has lived through military life, parenthood, aging, and all the everyday chaos in between. With quick wit, candid storytelling, and a perfectly timed dose of sarcasm, Jason turns life’s frustrations into big laughs and instantly connects with audiences.

His energetic stage presence and conversational style make every crowd feel like part of the experience. Whether he’s sharing stories about serving his country, raising kids, or navigating the absurdities of adulthood, Jason finds the humor in the moments everyone recognizes but rarely says out loud. His comedy leaves audiences laughing, feeling seen, and reminded that when life gets ridiculous, the best response is often to laugh.

See y'all Saturday night!

Sarah Matthes is an Austin-based comedian, poet, writer, and storyteller who knows a thing or two about finding the funny in real life.
She created PUPA, a weekly storytelling show at East Austin Comedy Club where performers turn personal stories into something unexpected — and usually pretty funny.
And when she's not doing comedy? She's a poetry professor at UT Austin and an award-winning poet. Her debut collection, Town Crier, won the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize in Poetry.
Basically, she's really smart AND really funny, which feels a little unfair.

Catch Sarah featuring at our stand up comedy night on Saturday, October 24!
