After almost 5 years of running Hardship Heroes there are moments that quietly settle into my heart and just never leave.

During our Disney themed experience, we gifted a family with something special. Three beautiful girls, each deserving of magic in their own way. But there was one moment Iโ€™ll carry with me forever.

โœจThis little girls smile.โœจ

It wasnโ€™t loud. It wasnโ€™t over the top.
It was the kind of pure joy that comes from feeling seen. From realizing that this moment, this magic, was truly meant for her.

For a split second, I swear it felt like the world paused.
And all that existed... gratitude. A child soaking in something she never expected.

That smile is why we do this.
Itโ€™s the reminder that hope can be felt, not just given.
And that sometimes, the smallest moments become the ones that truly stay with us.

๐Ÿ‘‘โ€We had Belle, Moana and Spiderman attend our 2026 Take Your Child to the Library Day Event this past Saturday 2/7 at the Degenstein Library. The actors were phenomenal! They were entertaining and engaging. They played games with the kids, sang songs and danced. They were funny and silly. The portrayed their characters perfectly, especially Spiderman. He had me laughing the whole time. Belle and Moana sang beautifully and everyone enjoyed singing along to the popular tunes. Overall, the kids just had an amazing day. I have already been asked who is coming to visit next year!โ€๐Ÿ‘‘
