For anyone in our community that may be interested, a special event is taking place at Tamaqua Area on Monday, April 13th:

The Tamaqua Area School District Athletic Department and St. Luke's Sports Medicine are proud to announce that American professional auto racing driver, Sage Karam, will be coming to the Tamaqua Area School District Auditorium on Monday, April 13 beginning at 7:00PM to speak to students and members of the general public.

Sage's message will be about his Journey in Auto Racing. He competes part-time in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, driving the #55 Toyota GR Supra for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen. Additionally, he competed full-time and part-time in the IndyCar Series. He is also a St. Luke's Community Ambassador.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome to and encouraged to attend.
