Be Bear Aware! Highlands Camp is located in Black Bear territory and we are lucky to be a place that bears call home. If you are planning on visiting us, please make sure your car is locked and free from all food, gum, trash, lotions, and lip balm. All trash can be disposed of in the Retreat Center. We have the responsibility of protecting the Black Bears and also want to make sure our guests and their property are safe while at camp.
