It has been a pretty busy lots of things going on!
Em started on making signs with the wood burner but not working very well…So on to the next project! We started to finally clean out a cabin that Em replaced the backing on..it was a dirty job🫣but needs to be done as we are getting a lot of inquiries for hunting season & thought maybe we can turn some into hunting cabins but not sure if we can get done on time🤷🏻‍♀️ We do have a couple different harvest hosts this weekend starting tomorrow too. Em started cleaning out the garage as he really wants to get around better..we spend 25% of time trying to find something and would like to get it cleared so he can start detailing again by spring! That is a big job to get that cleaned out too!😅 We have about 100 projects on our list right now..😅
We took a break and went to visit Kim’s(a good fellow from our Lean Rocket Class) new shop in Tecumseh Kimberly Amstutz-Wild who I’ve been recommending to everyone I know! She makes the most amazing sweets!! She is evens sweeter person once you get to know her🥰 I also got to meet Rachelle who is opening her new ice cream shop that is in the same building as Kim! Rachelle let us do some taste testing and discovered that we could even make our very own Le Vintage Rose ice cream flavor that we can sell!🥳 I’m excited to do that!!🤗 Picking up an order for Lisa next week from Kim who I’m helping to plan a surprise party for her while she’s in France 🇫🇷 I learned another fellow student was also around the corner and so we got to visit her as well! She took over her family business after 30 years ! There were so many amazing shoes and I did find an adorable one, I have the most complicated feet(doublewide🫠) Stacey was very helpful and had always been supportive & thoughtful so I’m glad we were able to visit & support her shop!🥰💞 Support all these wonderful ladies in a cute town of Tecumseh!😍 Had no idea how touristy it is there! They had like 40k people come through their town last weekend festival. How do we make Allen like that again like it was back in the day how it became the antique Capital!
We have been slowly decorating as I’m nervous about the weather ruining some props we have. We have enough time though even if we work through the nites😊 I’m going to have to be in alot of decorating mode the next couple weeks! I’ve been catching up on so much laundry that I think I broke the washer again😩 It’s probably time to get a new one than constantly trying to fix it, been wanting a new one since we moved her but nervous about the newer models not working well either like we replaced at our last house🤦🏻‍♀️ Laundrymat is no fun either🙂‍↔️ Shop will be open tomorrow(Thursday)and trying to get more things in order!
Thank you Roger Sprague for picking me up the pizza I ordered that was suppose to be $1 and ended up paying full price for🤷🏻‍♀️not sure how order went through when payment didn’t take online, that was confusing🤨 it was good though😋

Today Evelyn brought her sweet, beautiful, and talented friend, Emily who celebrated her birthday today, she is also an artist, & opera singer too!!😍We had some fun memories like getting stuck in a dress & all Evelyn and I having to come to the rescue and constant dropping needles to sew button back on🤣 Happy Birthday Emily Garnes!!🥳 Thank you Evelyn Gary for welcoming Emily to our shop!!💞 May all your wishes come true Emily…💖 Can’t wait to have you come practice/ and share your gift here, any time!!🥰
Miss Evelyn also came and redeemed her gift card she won from Miss Brenda’s booth, and got a set of awesome lamps with her gift card!!💝

Thank you Roger Sprague for running the Victorian house today & helping make sales!!🤗 He sported his early bday cap from our new collection before we put it out🥰 I was little red riding hood I think.🤔 Em has been working on making the grounds more clear as we have started doing our $5 self guided tours this week which has been very nice & so helpful!!🤗 Wish we had started sooner😅 Rich who donated the amazing light up sign to us stopped by to visit as well🥰 Karen stopped by to visit today and got a picture of her meeting Roger today! It was William’s dog, Mikes birthday today and I got to tease him with my second cupcake I enjoyed from BakedBliss🧁😋 It is not overly sweet & no dye so I don’t feel guilty eating them 👍 Em is working on planting, finish staining chapel doors, & making signs. I’m just coming up with list ideas💡, catching up on dishes, & laundry!🧺 I found a nice size dresser Coach Eby Home Store this week that I’m excited to have so less clothing on the floor now & laundry baskets!🤗

Today was a beautiful day & we had the pleasure of celebrating Marlowe’s 1st birthday here in the 1840 Allen Greek Revival School House & we couldn’t have been more thrilled as it was our very first birthday celebration ever here!!🥳 Thank you Janessa Ledyard from Scruff to Fluff Grooming Parlor, LLC. for choosing us!!🥰 Thank you to Lean Rocket Lab for helping us build friendship & connections💞
I got to enjoy some extra delicious, dye free cupcakes made by BakedBliss as well!😋Thank you all SO MUCH❣️

Today we got the Allen Greek Revival school house cleaned out & prepped for our very first birthday tomorrow! Janessa, owner from Scruff & Fluff and fellow Lean Rocket classmate came to decorate for her babies bday!!🥳 Met a very awesome family from Fort Wayne Indiana today who found out about Allen through Antique Trail and had learned about us🥰(I regret not getting a pict of them all!) They loved & enjoyed our shop🤗 Met a sweet couple David & Phyllis Burney who got to do the tour of our place, came to Michigan as a joke as well, moved ftom Alaska & has been off the grid since they’ve moved here! They definitely had stories & jokes to share, we hope to visit them sometime at their Amish home they found 5 years ago!🤗 They also found one of Roger Sprague jugs they could use🤗 Met 2 sweet ladies who heard of Allen through a friend and purchased a precious moment as a souvenir to remember they visited💖 We should start selling post cards of our place!!😍 I know Jennifer Lynne picked up one of our Le Vintage Rose stickers last weekend as well which I thought was cool🥰 We had our last LVR Cruise-in club & thankful we were able to provide a little getaway for our guys🥰 Will sure miss having them but we will all keep in touch!!💞 Em & I decided to check our projector screen out to see if it worked!-movie night!🤗 Got a message from our vendor,
Brenda this evening about her dad who is not doing well at all🥺 The nurses said it could be his last weekend..😞 Praying for Vann.brendashinn as she has took so much great care of him meanwhile still coming here to manage her booths, she is such a trooper with all the pain & emotions she’s gone through, she still wants to come and bring joy & cheer to us💞💖 Praying for peace & healing as we all know a lot of us can use it🙏
