🌾✨ November is National Native American Heritage Month! ✨🌾

At OrganicLife, we’re proud to honor traditions through the meals we serve — bringing culture, flavor, and meaning to every plate. 💛

This month, District 300 high schools kick off their Monthly World Tour of Foods! 🌍✈️
We’re starting our journey close to home with a special dish inspired by Native American heritage — Navajo Tacos! 🎉

Enjoy a warm piece of Traditional Fry Bread topped with your choice of:
🍗 Chicken
🐄 Beef
🌿 Black or Pinto Beans (Vegetarian)

Plus, savor our Black Bean & Corn Salsa — a colorful mix of tomato, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño! 🌽🔥

It’s the perfect way to celebrate heritage and enjoy a meal full of history, culture, and flavor. 🌾

🍽️ Extended Supper Program Hours During Government Shutdown 🍽️

District 300, in partnership with OrganicLife, remains committed to supporting our students by ensuring every child has access to nutritious meals.

Our free dinner program provides healthy, balanced meals to all District 300 students ages 4–18 — completely free of charge, regardless of income, school, or where they live within the district.

Every student is welcome to join us for dinner at any of our serving locations — no registration or paperwork required!

🕓 Updated Serving Hours (Starting November 3):

📍 Dundee-Crown High School (D-CHS): Open until 6:00 p.m.
📍 Carpentersville Middle School (CMS): Open until 5:15 p.m.
📍 Golfview Elementary School (GVES): Open until 5:15 p.m.
📍 Meadowdale Elementary School (MES): Open until 5:15 p.m.
📍 Lake in the Hills Elementary School (LITH): Open until 4:15 p.m.

🌟 Program Highlights:

✅ Healthy, balanced meals prepared fresh daily by OrganicLife
✅ Free for all students ages 4–18 — no cost to families
✅ Convenient locations and extended hours
✅ A welcoming space for students to refuel, connect, and recharge after school

📅 Beginning November 3, District 300 and OrganicLife are temporarily extending the serving hours of our Dinner Program in response to the expiration of SNAP emergency benefits.
We will continue to review these extended hours based on participation and community need.

Today, OrganicLife had the pleasure of catering for the amazing teachers & staff at Westfield Community School for their annual Welcome Back to School meeting! 🍎✨

We served a hearty Baked Potato Bar featuring:
🥔 Baked Potato, Butter, Bacon Bits, Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream, Cheese Sauce, and Pulled Pork

Plus a fresh and crisp Caesar Salad Bar with:
🥗 Salad Mix, Diced Chicken, Cherry Tomatoes, Parmesan Cheese, Croutons, Caesar Dressing, and a warm Dinner Roll
