Funny story of how I turned off the main street I was on and found this fine lady on the side of the street near a trash pick up location. I just had to take her home and find a place for her in the garden at The _Algonquin_House. I think she needs a goddess name … any suggestions?

Anyone know of anyone looking for a house in Elgin? This one is my daughter’s house.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The June 11 summer concert and BBQ at The _Algonquin_House is moving to June 18! Severe weather is expected tomorrow so making an early decision - before I start cooking - to move it to next week. Come anytime 6:30-9:30 for food, fun, and friends! It will be a go on June 18 rain or shine! Please spread the word.

It’s official … join me for a BBQ on June 11 to celebrate the first of the 2026 summer concerts in Towne Park and a sneak peek of The_Algonquin_House. Or, stop by and Thursday before, during, or after the concerts.

This may be one of my favorite improvements at . Had this area opened up to access the path and see the concerts in Towne Park. First concert is June 11. Stop by for food and drinks that night!

This was 5 years ago today! I’ve been hard at work on renovations and want to get this place open for business within the next 12 months.
