Show starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm

Parking is FREE, and available in the plaza parking lot where The Point is located.

Laura loved this event every year and we have bought tickets for 15 couples over the past 3 years in her honor.

We also sponsor sports teams all over Southern Maine. This non-profit foundation was created after we lost our beautiful Laura Cole in 2021. Today, we honor our amazing Laura who died tragically 2 years ago today. We will be doing family things all day and also spreading her love. We may not get back to you today, but looking forward to sharing some cool things we are doing and reply to all the pending messages this weekend.

We thank you all for your love and support on this difficult day for our family.

Already had over 3 dozen kids leave Santa letters at the The North Pole - Alfred, Maine Christmas Light Display & Magic Mailbox . We were delayed due to a major construction going on including ground work, but we put the Magic Mailbox out on 12/1. Any children who drop off a letter get a letter mailed to them from Santa and a surprise! 39 kids so far, lets keep the letters coming!

2022 Alfred 3rd Annual Operation Santa!

Do you know an Alfred child who could use a special gift this Christmas and the parents may need a little help? Laura’s Legacy of Love is teaming up with the The North Pole - Alfred, Maine Christmas Light Display & Magic Mailbox, Kona Ice of York County and Go Foto Yourself New England to help some local families this Christmas season!

If you know a family who could use a little boost this Christmas with a present, please go to http://www.lauraslegacyoflove.com and complete the Operation Santa sign up form. The information stays confidential. (form is on the left side of the page, in the menu section)

For all kids, you can bring a letter to Santa’s magical mailbox located at the Alfred North Pole, 40 Hay Brook Drive in Alfred. Every child will receive a letter back from the big guy as long as you leave your child's name and mailing address. Last year we had nearly 100 kids leave letters! The Christmas Lights are delayed a little bit due to construction but we will keep an update on the Alfred North Pole Page

So, as many of you know, Laura and I ran a very busy and successful photo booth company. Go Foto Yourself New England did over 100 weddings a year and we had over 150 events booked for 2021 before Laura was taken from us.

I have been seeing reminders from Laura all over. I went to our storage unit and saw her notes, all the equipment and hundreds of cards and letters from people thanking us for being part of their special day. Then I found this video and seeing Laura so happy reminded me of all the good times we had.

I finally was able to finish all the work of being able to reopen Go Foto Yourself New England. We have also ordered more new backdrops and are just awaiting our new computer then we can fully reopen.

It is so amazing to go to weddings, see the happiness and create lifetime memories. I understand it will be tough too, not to have my beautiful wife there to share these things with. But I think this is what she wants, I have seen so many signs lately. Once the computer with all new software is here, we will start booking new appointments. I will also be looking for staff to help make this successful. The pay is really good, you get to eat amazing wedding food at every event and you get to work with me!

We are excited to announce that Kona Ice of York County will be at the Sanford Fireworks at Number One Pond on Sunday, July 3rd! A portion of all sales will be used to establish scholarships for 5 local seniors in honor of our amazing Laura Cole and Laura's Legacy of Love. Stop by, have an amazing sno cone! Temps are supposed to be in the 80s or 90s, so its perfect weather!

We will also be offering free US mini flags with purchase of the Kollectible US Flag cup ($6 purchase with $3 refills!).

We will be parked on the road near the water skiers!

You may have seen the post from York County Shelter Programs with a desperate SOS for non-perishable food. The food pantry and shelter are serving more people than ever and with the rising costs of food, more and more families are experiencing food insecurities.

So here is a way we can help, kids can get involved and everyone can enjoy a cool refreshment! This Sunday, June 12th, from 10am to 1:30pm at the York County Shelters Food Pantry located at 5 Swetts Bridge Road (Corner of Route 4), Laura’s Legacy of Love and Kona Ice of York County will be hosting a food drive! For every item you bring, you can save $1 off a Kona Ice shaved ice. If you bring 3 items, you get a FREE KONA! If you bring 6 items, you get 2 Free Kona’s, etc. Or if you would like to make a cash donation, you can also get a FREE KONA, with all money and canned foods going to our communities to help our neighbors in need.

I spoke with the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Food Pantry yesterday and they mentioned they could use canned vegetables, canned soups, boxed pasta, jars of pasta sauce, chips, crackers, peanut butter, jelly or whatever you can donate!

Kids and parents, what a great way to get one of your favorite treats while helping your community! If you have any questions or would like to donate but can’t make it Sunday, send us an email at [email protected] or give me a call at (603) 953-6160. Together we can make a difference in our community, one can at a time!
