DON’T BE DISTRACTED!!!

Distraction - (1) a thing that prevents someone from giving full attention to something else (2) extreme agitation of the mind or emotions (madness, confusion, insanity, interference, hinderance, mania)

But here’s the origin of the word…

“Distraction comes from the Latin dis-, "apart," and trahere, "drag." Interestingly, one of the meanings of the word distraction comes from a French term related to a cruel form of torture. This medieval French torture was set-aside for the very worst offenders. The offender had their four limbs tied to four horses, you can figure out what happened next; they got dis-tracted!”

You get ready to pray…a call comes in that you just have to answer.

You finally find the time to sit in silence to see what the whole counsel of God is on a matter and all of a sudden…social media is calling your name. DIS-TRACTION!

The enemy has been very effective of griping the minds of great men and women of God w the goal of killing your destiny.

The enemy’s goal is to make you lose your mind. The Bible declares that a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways

Unstable - (1) likely to change or fail; not firmly established (2) prone to psychiatric problems or sudden changes of mood.

Keep playing w the enemy and falling for the snares of his distractions if you want.
⠀
You will lose your mind and ultimately your destiny.

Be vigilant in this hour.
