This weekend’s performers!

Enjoy a full weekend of live music on the Gazebo with Summertime in Old Town on July 4-6. On Friday, Big K and Blue Train will perform at 7 pm; on Saturday, Lady Fingers with a Thing’r Too will perform at 1 pm and Picoso at 7 pm; and on Sunday, The Fabulous Martini Tones will perform at 1 pm then DJ Salsita at 7 pm.

It’s a special weekend in Old Town!

The weekend’s edition of Summertime in Old Town will feature Festival Flamenco Albuquerque from 4-9 pm on Saturday, June 28. Spend your whole weekend listening to live music with Divino on Friday, June 27 at 7 pm; The Real Matt Jones on Saturday, June 28 at 11 am; and NM Marimba Band on Sunday, June 29 at 1 pm.

Silver Sky Blues Band will perform on Friday, June 20 at 7 pm; The Dust Devils on Saturday, June 21 at 1 pm; Michael Moxey and the Easy Sinners on Saturday, June 21 at 7 pm; and Watermelon Mountain Jug Band will perform on Sunday, June 22 at 1 pm.

It’s the perfect weekend for some live music!

Summertime in Old Town will take over the Gazebo this weekend, June 13-15, with live music from local performers on the Gazebo. Take a relaxing stroll through Plaza Vieja before finding a seat near the Gazebo to enjoy the sounds of some of Albuquerque’s favorite bands. Frank Leto & PANdemonium will play on Friday at 7 pm, Mariachi Xochitl on Saturday at 1 pm, The Rudy Boy Experiment on Saturday at 7 pm, La Ansiedad Norteña on Sunday at 1 pm, and DJ Salsita on Sunday at 7 pm.

Summertime in Old Town kicks off on the Gazebo this weekend, May 23-25! This summer concert series will fill the streets of Old Town with live music and dancing each weekend, offering the perfect evening entertainment for the Albuquerque community. This weekend’s performers will include Severo y Grupo Fuego on Friday from 7-9 pm, Box Canyon Barbies on Saturday from 7-9 pm, Flambeaux on Sunday from 1-3 pm, and Salsita on Sunday from 7-9 pm.

This past weekend in Old Town was the annual Santacruzan celebration presented by the Filipino-American Foundation of New Mexico. Featuring traditional dancing and music from local performers as well as a mass service, the Gazebo was brought to life with a full evening of festivities and fun. Year after year, this event brings a large crowd of people to old town, all celebrating culture and community.

Santacruzan is back in Old Town today, Saturday, May 17! Presented by the Filipino-American Foundation of New Mexico, this annual celebration will feature traditional and contemporary music as well as dances from the Philippines performed by local groups.

Mass starts at 4 pm. Festivities on the Gazebo will begin at 6 pm.

Old Town History!

In 1905 the Manuel Armijo residence, home to the family of the former governor, was located at Central Ave. and San Pasqual Ave. On a dirt road, the home was a common destination and stop for locals.
