Drop Your Weapons for Lawrence Drop Your Weapons for Lawrence is a free community event, to honor and remember Lawrence Anzures.

We will promote mental wellness, physical health, and healthy relationships with APD/AFD. Food trucks, hot dog catering, ice cream truck, Paleta bar, Kona ice and multiple food vendors.

Hello everyone!! This year, a community event could not be completed in memorial for Lawrence Anzures.

However, we will still have a gathering and memorial for Lawrence Anzures, who we all miss dearly.

Lawrence’s parents, Dennis and Diane, would like to invite anyone who would like to gather in honor of Lawrence Anzures, this Saturday, August 12th, 2023.

We will be gathering peacefully at Lawrences final resting place located at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

We will gather from 6:15pm to Sunset, at that time there will be a balloon release in significance of Lawrence’s life and the lasting memory He left with us.

Please bring green balloons and a candle if able.

It's been nearly a year since a 13-year-old was shot dead at Washington Middle School, and a man shot and killed at Ojos Locos Sports Cantina, tragedies that left two families mourning.
