Some wedding designs simply stop you in your tracks.

This black and white reception on the lawn at The Lumpkin House is a perfect example of how a classic palette can still make an incredible statement.

Crisp white and black linens. Black chairs and details. Layers upon layers of gorgeous white florals. Candlelight beginning to glow as evening settles in. And those string lights overhead just waiting for the sun to go down.

Every detail feels intentional, elegant, and completely at home against the greenery of our grounds.

We love seeing couples take the lawn and transform it into an experience that feels entirely their own. And this one? We could stare at it all day.

We really just did that.

The smiles are bigger, the hugs are tighter, and everything feels a little more magical.

The dance floor can tell you everything about a wedding.

If it's full all night long, you know one thing—the couple created a celebration their guests never wanted to leave.

That was Wyatt and Haley's night.

From the first song to the final send-off, the energy never slowed down. Friends became dance partners. Family filled the floor. Every chorus was sung a little louder, every hug lasted a little longer, and every smile reminded us why we celebrate in the first place.

Every corner of The Lumpkin House holds space for a moment worth remembering.

A quiet spot for heirloom details passed down through generations.
The perfect light for portraits just before the ceremony begins.
A timeless backdrop for the moments you will look back on for years to come.

One of the things we love most about the grounds here is the variety each space offers while still feeling cohesive, refined, and intentional. From the lawn beneath the oaks to the intimate corners surrounding the estate, there is always a place for every part of the story to unfold beautifully.

And those heirloom pieces?
The handwritten notes. The veil. The jewelry. The family photographs.

They deserve their moment too.

The vows have been said, the rings are on, and suddenly you look at each other and realize, we really did it.

One of the things we love most about The Lumpkin House is that there’s room to step away for a few minutes and soak it all in.

Take a stroll across the grounds. Hold hands. Laugh about the morning. Let your photographer follow from a distance. Or simply spend a few quiet minutes together before heading back to everyone waiting to celebrate you.

Wedding days move quickly, but this moment doesn’t have to.

Take the walk. Breathe it in. Look at your new husband or wife and let yourself feel that just married feeling for a little while longer.
