The Albany Herald recently caught up with Blackberry Smoke frontman Charlie Starr to talk about the band's 25-year journey, their greatest-hits collection Rattle, Ramble and Roll, and what fans can expect when they hit the stage right here at the Albany Municipal Auditorium next week.

His answer? “We’re going to give y’all a little bit of everything.” 🤘

What a morning!

We are so grateful for the incredible turnout at today’s Pink Run, kicking off the FREC 5K Race Series in support of breast cancer awareness.

From the runners and survivors who showed up in pink, to the families and friends cheering them on, to the incredible volunteers who helped make the morning possible—THANK YOU. Your energy, encouragement and support made today so special.

A huge thank you to Phoebe Putney Health System, our presenting sponsor, our volunteers from Zeta Tau Alpha at Georgia Southwestern State University and Lee County High School HOSA, our partners and staff who gave their time to support this event and our community.

Today was about more than a race. It was about coming together, showing support and honoring the strength of those impacted by breast cancer.

Thank you, Albany, for showing up!
We’ll see you at the Monster Dash on October 24!
