Now it's time to dig deep folks and help these kids (and my kid) get to the FRC World Championships in Houston, TX! Our little school district is facing difficult times and never planned for it to happen. Now it's up to this team of dedicated underdogs to raise a lot of money with very little time to do it so they can compete in something they love. It's like the plot of a great 80s movie! Now they need help from people like you to make it happen. Every little bit helps!

CHS' robotics team, Artemis 6621, has earned a spot at the 2025 FIRST Championship happening April 16-19 in Houston, Texas and they need your help to get there! The team is fundraising post-haste to cover the cost of the trip and is accepting donations now through April 8.

This is a world-level competition that Chatham qualified for through their alliance winning the FIRST NY Tech Valley Regional competition held at MVP arena in Albany March 27-29. They are the only high school robotics team in Columbia County and are proud to be one of the smallest teams competing. Artemis 6621 is currently ranked 9th in NYS out of 150 teams, 96th nationally out of 2,930 teams, and 122nd in the world out of 3,695 teams!

The District will be funding the registration costs. In order to get to Houston, the team has the goal of raising at least $35,000 through donations from our community. These funds will pay for the team's travel, hotel, meals, transportation of their robot and tools, and other related expenses.

Albany Edit opened at 1593 Central Ave on April 1st 2001 and today is the final day the location will be open. It's been a privilege owning a business in Colonie, NY and a pleasure providing the unique video service you've come to rely on. A warm thank you to every single customer that has walked through these doors. Even though the doors are closing, I hope to keep in touch with many of you as you join me in this new chapter for the business online.

The decision to close the walk-in location has been almost 3 years in planning and for once the Pandemic was not to blame. I've been very encouraged by so many of you that say you'll stick with me during the move online. While I'll very much miss chatting at the store counter, you might still be able to catch me if you choose to drop off your project in my Valatie Drop-Box. Please don't ever be afraid to call, text (new feature after April 21st), FB message or email me... we can even schedule a video chat if you'd like. I'm still going to keep all the services very hands-on. And unlike other companies you see on the web, I'm still the only person that will work on your project and I don't farm out or send your material anywhere else.

If you keep getting my voicemail early next week please bear with me. I have a lot of equipment to finish moving and setup, but should be going full steam ahead in a few days.

Feel free to stop by and say goodbye to the store or drop off a project in person to be finished after the move. I'm here until 5pm Friday the 15th.
