Wedding toasts can be some of the best few minutes of the entire reception. 🥂

The stories, the laughs, the things you never knew your dad was going to say in front of 150 people…

A few things we’ve learned after a lot of wedding dinners:

Keep the speaker list intentional. Keep each toast around 2–3 minutes. Let your speakers know when they’re up. And make sure your catering, planning and entertainment teams are all on the same page about timing.

Because while everyone is listening to the Best Man, there’s a whole dinner service happening behind the scenes.

The goal is for the toast to feel like part of the evening, not something everyone is waiting through while their dinner gets cold.

Then when the microphone comes out, all you have to do is listen, laugh, cry and take it all in.

We remember the details.

Some wedding days begin with a ballroom.

This one began with a boat.

Every detail had to make the trip across the water before a single guest arrived. And honestly? That’s our favorite part.

Because when your guests step onto the island, they shouldn’t be thinking about logistics. They should be thinking about how beautiful everything feels, how good the food is, and how excited they are to celebrate.

You remember the moments. We remember the details.

June gave us beautiful weddings, packed events, long days, late nights, full coolers, full dance floors, and a whole lot of “okay, what’s next?”

So naturally, we celebrate!

Event season is officially in full swing, and we’re very grateful for a team that works hard, laughs harder, and gets right back up when June takes them out.

Here’s to July. 🥂

What’s your favorite passed hors d’oeuvre?

Let’s just say… our team had opinions. 😄

We asked a few members of our event team to name their favorite butler passed bite, and there was definitely some debate.

Shrimp cocktail had a loyal following.

A few other favorites made the list.

But the clear winner?

Buffalo chicken rangoons.

Now we have to know…

Still not over this one.

The Hangar at 743 transformed into the perfect backdrop for a night that felt equal parts celebration, experience, and adventure.

From the flight crew-inspired service to the themed food stations and entertainment, every detail helped bring the vision to life.

Events like this are a reminder that great gatherings aren’t just attended. They’re experienced.

Some menu items mean a little more.

For this wedding, we served passed empanadas inspired by our bride’s Colombian heritage.

Short rib, chicken, and beef empanadas served with salsa verde and guacamole during cocktail hour.

One of our favorite parts of catering weddings is finding ways to bring personal touches into the menu. Whether it’s a family recipe, a cultural tradition, or a favorite late-night snack, those details are often what guests remember most.

And these empanadas were definitely a hit

Not to be dramatic but people really lock in at a nacho bar.

Everyone suddenly has very strong opinions about toppings.

And honestly? It’s fun to watch.

Something about stations like this changes the energy of a corporate event a little.
People move around more.
Talk longer.
Actually interact instead of just sitting through another event.

This one with at was a good reminder that corporate events can still feel really social.
