Today was a good day

Well the Lark Street BID might have cancelled this year’s Chili and Chowder Stroll on Lark Street that’s not going to stop us from serving up our awarding winning chili and chowder!!!

Savoy’s Texas Firehouse chili won “Best Chili” at the 2024 event and the Copper Crow’s seafood-rich Newport Chowder took Best Chowder/Soup in 2021. Both will be available on the sidewalk tomorrow before, during, and after the 20th running of the Santa Speedo Sprint!!! Rumor has it we will also have to go hot chocolate and adult hot chocolate so SHARE THIS POST AND SPREAD THE WORD.

Savoy Taproom will open the bar at noon. The kitchen will open at 1pm and the Santa Speed Sprint kicks off at 2pm. Registration for the race begins across the street at Oh Bar at 11 a.m. The 800m charity run raises funds for the Albany Damien Center and the HIV/AIDS program at Albany Medical Center.
