Exquisite Designs’ services included fresh and artificial flower arrangements for all occasions, maternity sashes, as well as seasonal, custom, and everyday wreaths. I have been working with both fresh and artificial flowers for over 20 years. Melaniux.

First, I’d like to thank you for all the time you devoted our shop! You have without a doubt been my absolute rock! I didn’t say this often because I’m just not that kind of person, but I am eternally grateful for you, for helping me - in what would have been most of my tasks! Thank you for lending an ear when I needed to vent — which was daily.

Today we aren’t just saying farewell to an employee. We are losing a part of our family and a dear friend, I know we can always reach out and I hope you know you can ALWAYS count on us.

I wish you all the best things in life, may God protect you and help you in this new journey!

Everyone Melaniux has worked her last shift at the shop, please wish her all the luck in her new endeavors and keep her in your prayers!

These are not good quality flowers, they should not be sold or gifted, and I do not want to throw them away.

John Luca is turning 6 today and my heart cannot handle it. It feels like it was just yesterday I was finding out I was pregnant, and now here I am…. With a whole 6 year old. 🥹

Get your cafecito… I have to rant. ☕️

First, I hope you all are having a lovely week!

I wanted to take some time to give you guys a quick update.

If you’ve stopped by the shop this week, you’ve probably noticed I’m not there. (Not unusual, because I’m always gone anyway 😅)

This week is different. I decided to take the whole week off, to give myself some much needed rest.

I’ve been at home, hanging out with my boys, enjoying my home, sleeping, organizing, and just focusing on my personal life. — don’t worry my mom is there working on y’all’s orders! Yall know she’s got this!

I made this decision because I’m saddened to have to say, our Melaniux is leaving us.

Our princess is going to flee the coop. This week is her last week at the shop! She is all grown up, and is moving on to her big girl job, where I know life is getting ready to bless her immensely because she absolutely deserves it. It has been such a privilege working with her. I truly have never met someone as sweet, understanding, and more deserving of the best things in life. I’m very sad, and if you know me on a personal level, you know I’m not good with goodbyes. I usually avoid them and get mad at people so it doesn’t hurt as much.

Because of her departure, there will be a huge gap in our shop, which means I will have to be more active in our business.

Jacob will be starting daycare sooner than anticipated. (I’m also working through that because my heart isn’t ready for it)

In the next few weeks, there’s going to be some chaos, but we will get through it!

Happy Monday!!!

I hope you all had a cozy and safe weekend! Here are a few pictures from my weekend with the boys! We got to start (making Lego anything with a 5 year old is a struggle) a Lego haunted house, and eat some caldito de res.

Since it’s October and it rained, it was obviously time for a Harry Potter movie marathon!
