I’ve named this new design “Wildflower,” since it was inspired by the superbloom I was surrounded by when I went to Big Sur a few weeks ago. The florals were absolutely stunning and the varieties were so exciting. I love how in the wild, they grow in a seemingly random way yet in reality, very purposeful. They grow in a way of getting the nutrients they need to survive. The direction they lean toward, the varieties that you see, and the ways in which it’s natural habitat influence the bloom is just so beautiful to me! I wanted to capture that beauty in this picnic setup. Random and wild, yet purposeful and refined.

Honor and appreciate moms. They have a hard job!

I just got off the phone with my own mom and it’s never lost on me how much she has sacrificed for her family. I honestly don’t know how she did it because I can barely manage the “work” part. Doing this picnic to celebrate Mother’s Day reminded me to appreciate her since it’s because of her that I have the privilege to pursue dreams such as running my own business.
