We had an amazing time at the GFWC Florida Spring Convention!
We spent the weekend learning, laughing, and celebrating all that makes Woman’s Club membership so special.

From leadership, membership, and fundraising workshops to connecting with state and district leaders, we left feeling inspired and energized. We realized just how much we all share — a deep passion for serving our communities and making a difference.

We’re proud to have brought home ribbons for our club’s beautiful artwork, but even prouder of the friendships and memories we strengthened along the way.

Of course, no trip would be complete without a few laughs:
• A forgotten pair of slippers turned into a new fashion trend!
• We learned baby’s breath might be prettier from a distance.
• Bingo wins weren’t guaranteed (sorry, Xene!).
• Some raffle baskets were just a little more “adventurous” than we expected.
• And yes… we introduced our first-time attendee to the sacred tradition of convention shopping!

Thank you, GFWC Florida, for an unforgettable weekend! We can’t wait to bring new ideas and fresh enthusiasm back to our club.

We were so proud to support one of our Alachua Woman’s Club ladies last night! Lisa V, your store is beautiful as you are inside and out! The items were very well priced. Anyone should be confident to use her whether you are on a budget or have an unlimited budget she is the perfect interior designer for you!

The Cattleman's Banquet is approaching fast. You can drop off any auction items to Tina at Alachua Florist by Friday. If you are making or donating any perishable food items please reach out to me or Joan to arrange a meet up for Monday or Tuesday. You can also bring any items Monday 24 to the clubhouse during the board meeting.

Ideas: Gift Cards any amount or place, Wine or bottles of alcohol, themed baskets, if you patron a local business ask them for a donation item, baked cakes, fresh eggs.

A portion of the proceeds from the auction to benefit One More Child.

Today is a great day, especially for Destiny Sullivan! Not only did she win the Grand Prize Giveaway from our Premier Bridal Expo, she also won the Wedding Cake Giveaway from Cake Crazzie!!
It was such a pleasure meeting with her today give her all the goodies she won!!

A huge shout out to all of our Vendors who attended the Expo and provided gifts for the Giveaway!!

Thank you to all who attended our Second Annual Premier Bridal Expo today! We had an amazing vendor lineup and enjoyed meeting all the new brides!

As promised we have tons of Goodies in the Grand Prize Giveaway and while we tried to take a live video, we were technically challenged and didn't realize it had to be longer than a minute to post! Then we tried to save it and it wound up getting deleted! With that being said, the drawing was held at the conclusion of the Expo and the Grand Prize winner is Destiny Sullivan!

In addition, We held a separate drawing for our Bridal Bingo Game. I hope you all enjoyed playing and were able to gather some valuable information from our vendors The winner for Bridal Bingo will get a get free Wedding Cake (some restrictions apply)! The winner of that drawing was also Destiny Sullivan! (I kid you not, Can't make this up. We have that video lol )

If Destiny Sullivan already has a cake for her wedding, then we will draw another name!
