We are soooooo excited!!!! Its here! Its Babinski's fall fest today (10-7 sat) 4 years ago at this event we found our piece of our family that was missing. And 3 years ago we found our last piece we needed to fill our hearts. So to say we love babinski would be an understatement. Guys they people are the best. They love and care about animals so much. Even if you cant add a new family member today come on out and see how big there hearts are. They love and support this community so much. There are so many amazing fun things happening today. And alot of my favorite people are gonna be there!!. We got 104.3 The Pulse , Catch 22 Mobile Cafe Caribbean fusion, Benny's hotdogs, iwonas perogies, dunmires, rolling dough wow what a line up come on out and make the best memories.

Its Main Street Market Downtown Brainerd day (fri 9-2) its going to be a beautiful day. Come on out get some Catch 22 Mobile Cafe coffee and Caribbean fusion for lunch. And baked goods from Sugar Sweet Baking By: Doro and the cookie man. Great fresh cut flowers from country sunshine. Amazing produce and fresh meat. And amazing crafters. There is truly something for everyone.

As I was introducing you guys to our newest employees earlier i realized I have never done a post about us. And our family and how all this came about. And about the 2 different names and whats up with that??? Lol I get asked about it pretty often so I should probably explain cuz it is kind of confusing. So lets start from the beginning... hi im kim im the one always talking to you and posting stuff. 👋 so my mom (kathy) started this business 17-18 years ago I know wow crazy to think its been that long. She started with an idea and a tiny little cooker which only made 1½large popcorn in one batchand some totes with holes drilled in them to sift the popcorn and it has slowly turned into this. So our business name is kd kettlecorn which its always been back then when she started she only sold kettlecorn. I dont remember how long exactly after she started she added cotton candy which wad my aunt barbs idea. She just loves cotton candy. As a business we never really put our business name out there. People just new us front what we looked like and our family. We never really advertised or had signs pushing our name. It was kinda only on paperwork and business things.so fast forward 8-10 years and we started shaved ice. But everything really changed a little over 2 years ago when my friend asked me about cotton candy cakes and I had never heard of such a thing. So that night I went home and started looking them up on Pinterest and got lost in a world of everything cotton candy. If you know me you know i LOVE everything colorful, bright, cheerful, rainbows glitter love it... I decided that day thats what I want to do. So I instantly ordered flavor concentrate in ever color for the rainbow. Because I NEEDED to make them all. Before that we had only made the classic bags blue and pink for 15+ years. That was on father's day she asked me that question. And the first event I ever had a specialty cotton candy items was the next week at arts in the park. I was so excited to show my cotton candy cakes and push pops off. That was all I had time to get ready for. And you guys loved them! I think i only sold 2 but you guys were so excited to see them and kept asking where you could get them and how you could find me when it was there birthday. At arts in the park I only help mom with shaved ice. So I handed out a few of my kettle corn cards with my name on it. Well I want to say it was 2 weeks later one of you messaged me for a cotton candy cake. I believe her name was Michelle. And I was so blown away and that someone looked me up to try and get a cake. And how to find me and ppl kept asking how to order and find me for later when they needed special order cotton candy. So on the spot I had to come up with a name a way for them to contact me. And thats where kims cotton candy creations came from. And thats when I made this page. And started posting all the different items and where they could find me at events. That first summer of making all the different items I would bring them to the different events with me. But having the small specialty items with me through the summer they would melt and have to get tossed. So I slowly disnt bring thw small things as much. But the rainbows never stopped. I still do all the big and small items but just as special orders now so they dont get wasted or melted. But thats the whole story of why the name is different. If you're looking at kims cotton candy creations thats me kim the more specialty cotton candy. But kd kettlecorn is all of us one family business.

Did you know i make more then just classic and rainbow bags of cotton candy? I make big and small cotton candy cakes, little cupcakes, personal size bags, cute little themed treat bags, push pops, and. Loud cones which look like and ice cream cone but its cotton candy. I also have deli containers of all sizes if you prefer a more compact cotton candy. Also have the mystery dum dum pops. And marshmellow pops which are wrapped in cotton candy glitter bombs which are edible luster dust glitter wrapped in cotton candy. So you drop them into a sprite or lemonade and get a pretty colored shimmer drink. Its so fun. I also make hot cocoa bombs which is cocoa powder and marshmallows wrapped in a ball of cotton candy which you drop into hot milk or water and its all ready for you to enjoy. You can pick between the flavors and colors and you pick a customized stickers to make you special dor or event just right! Is cotton candy the thing your party is missing? We are all set up and ready at aitkins farmers market (sat 9-1) so many great vendors, fresh produce, baked goods, sourdough, lots of canned goodies and crafts, and the best goat lotion products.
