Did you know St. Patrick was originally associated with the color blue? Some old Irish flags and historical depictions of St. Patrick show him wearing blue. The change to green likely happened because of Ireland's nickname "The Emerald Isle" and the color of shamrocks! We love Blue (Collard) and we love St. Patrick's Day!
