My mom is a caterer. She’s really amazing! You should definitely hire her for your event, because she’s truly incredible and makes the best food. She’s also a homesteader and these are the pictures they send me 🥲

I ask my parents to send me pictures of food and events to post.. and these are the pictures I’ve gotten this week. Betty is getting closer to calving 😂🤪

One thing I’m passionate about is waste! When we picked strawberries, we worked up several dozen pounds and any of the tops were fed to the chickens! And from them we get eggs to feed my family or any farm customers.

Soon we will be getting pigs again! Our cows will calve soon and if there’s any whey from cheese making it will go straight into the pig feed! We also ran the pigs through the garden plot at the end of the season to help with clean-up. They did a great job! Haha. And we get the best sausage from them!

Nothing goes to waste!

Owning my own catering business, there can’t be a lot of waste, that’s one of the reasons so many fail.. too high food cost and too much of that food cost is just thrown away.

When I prepare for your event I get everything fresh and make sure only the best for you and your guests. Just wanted to let you get a sneak peek behind the curtain of why waste is something I’m passionate about!

This week my daughters and granddaughters are here for a visit! That means time for roasting hotdogs, picking and processing strawberries, and lots of time hanging out with all of the farm animals!

We also served the bates county hospital a taco bar!
