Due to the great interest surrounding The Norristown Throwdown it seems fitting to update everyone regarding our hopeful plans for the near future. As much as we were looking forward to being on the threshold of another Throwdown we are obviously not going to be able to have it in March 2021, unfortunately. However, we do want to try to have an event whenever the Covid spread slows down enough that most people feel somewhat comfortable in a large crowd type setting again. We are hoping to be able to have a "return to life as we knew it" celebration and forego a masked/socially distanced event if possible while also being responsible and considerate of the health and concerns of all those eager to enjoy live music and get-togethers again! Stay tuned and we will spread the word when things start to look favorable that we won't also spread the virus! Much love to you all and stay safe out there!

Thank you to everyone who has asked about The Norristown Throwdown 2020. We have decided that we will not be having the Throwdown this year. This tough but necessary decision was made for the longevity of the Throwdown as we move into the future. We are looking to incorporate some more local help including sponsors and volunteers and to return to the more grassroots structure from years past. We look forward to having a more lengthy planning stage to bring you the best Throwdown yet! We will see ya'll in March 2021!

Due to unforeseen problems with our internet connection today we were unable to do the poster auction as we had promised earlier in the day. **EDIT---- Due to the overwhelming response to these signed posters we have decided to do a charity auction right here in the comments section! There will be a post later today of an actual signed poster and we will give a set time range for bidding. All proceeds will go directly to Dennis "Knocker" Hall so be generous. To be fair there will be a 4 hr bidding period starting around 3pm and going to around 7pm to make it fair for those who can't access facebook during working hours. The highest bid takes it and it will start at posted starting price! Get those wallets ready! **
