🍄 BENEATH THE SURFACE 🍄

There’s a little fun waiting beneath the layers.

Join me for a playful mixed-media workshop where we’ll combine paint, stains, torn paper, texture, and watercolor mushrooms to create a one-of-a-kind piece inspired by nature.

We’ll layer, experiment, get our hands a little messy, and see where the creative process takes us. No art experience needed—just come ready to play and create.

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Sunday Grace 🌿

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

Hope doesn’t usually arrive loudly.

Sometimes it begins as a quiet stirring—
a fresh idea,
a new perspective,
the courage to begin again.

This Sunday, may joy meet you where you are, may peace steady you, and may hope make room for all that God is still creating in and through you.

True love, hope, joy, and peace come from Above. 🤍

You are loved. 🤗

LET GO 🍂

One of the things I love most about our Rooted Grace workshops is that the inspiration for the workshop doesn't define your work. It gives the idea but each participant is free to create their own variation.

It's your hands. Your story. Your expression.

That's part of the beauty of creating. 🤎

Create. Inspire. Grow.

A little behind-the-scenes at Rooted Grace Studio.✂️🌿

One of my favorite things about junk journaling is watching a page come together one layer at a time. Old-looking papers, little bits and pieces, texture, words… sometimes you don't know exactly where you're going when you begin.

You just start creating.

Today’s little reminder happened to be right there on the page: Keep moving forward. 🤎

And maybe that's good advice for creativity—and life.

Create. Inspire. Grow.

P.S. If you've been curious about junk journaling, you'll want to stick around. 👀✂️📖

Monday Affirmation 🌿

A new week. A fresh page.

Sometimes we need the reminder that we don't have to carry everything from yesterday onto today's page.

We can begin again.

We can create something new.

We can notice something beautiful.

We get to choose what we want to carry forward.

Today’s affirmation:

I give myself permission to begin again. I welcome this new week with an open heart, fresh perspective, and room to grow.

Today, my fresh page looked a little like this. 🤎✂️📖

Create. Inspire. Grow.

Sunday Grace 🌿

Sometimes growth is quiet. We may not always see what’s happening beneath the surface, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t growing.

As we step into a new week, may we stay rooted in faith, give ourselves grace for the journey, and trust what God is growing in us. 🌿🤎

Scripture:

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
— Jeremiah 17:7–8

Affirmation:

I am deeply rooted in faith,
strengthened by grace,
and growing in every season.

Create. Inspire. Grow.

You are loved. 🤗
