Update:
We had a wonderful time having Maddy do the live sale and then life hit. If you know us personally or have followed our business you know family is our core. My grandmother is the rock of our family and into her 90s was still a force to be reckoned with. She has always been significant in our lives and one of my closest friends. So as you can imagine when she had several falls and quickly began to decline it floored us all. For several weeks there was a lot of fear and pretty scary moments and business wasn’t at the front of my mind. The stress of it all forced us into go mode, more work, more progress and an overall catch up from delays due to endless rain. So if you have been waiting for a reply, if the live sale items weren’t wrapped up that night or if we dropped anything along the way. Please know this is not our norm! This year has had a lot of non farm challenges! Trees crushing our main work spaces, a person with the intention of separating the 3 monkeys and pending court associated with this, and a lot of family members aging and fighting immense illness. This post is only for the intention of being real, being ourselves which always strive to be authentic and honest even when vulnerable and most of all to be grateful for those who have been with us along the journey! We have grown a lot as a business, as a family and as a community. My grandmother is gratefully on the mend. My love and first memories of blooms actually began with her! But the delays with weather and life and the inability to take time to deal with endless messages during all of it makes us recognize it is late in the season and our delays may have changed your wants! We understand that and want to say we are sorry for any inconvenience and we will be gifting a credit to those who didn’t get anything claimed during the live sale. We stand by great service but couldn’t be our best in this moment and we want to show our appreciation for showing up for Maddy! If it is not too late, please reach out to me and I will try to make quick arrangements. We have been stress planting, yes it’s a thing! So if something is not available don’t hate us! We thank all of you who have supported us, led with kindness and compassion and continue to show up.

Maddy goes live was a hit but wow we didn’t expect the delays in some requests this past week! We had a birthday for monkey #1 on Monday, my birthday Thursday and a whole lot of other demands of life with our nana in the middle of closing on a house from far away! You know what that means when your parents decide to buy a house and you live a block away from the one in the middle of inspections, negotiations and paperwork 😂. So please know we love you all, we haven’t forgotten! This was new to us and it requires a lot more time than the system of a website which is where we shine! The rain has been endless and today is the first day I haven’t been down poured on and looking wet dog chic! So bare with us, we all know he may have been the star of the show but this mom of 3 is the one hauling the load! We apologize if this has been anything but enjoyable for you as we learn this new way, navigate the aftermath of it being a hit and begin to work on structure and tools to make it more streamline! Thank you as always for all the love, encouragement to that sweet boy and continued support as we are so grateful!

Thank you all who tuned in today! Will be working on catching up and getting things out! Maddy thought it was so cool to be the host and loved the positive feedback! We are a family business.. the kids are just as much a part of this journey. They are dahlia warlords, dahlia pickers and they even own their own stock. I love sharing this life with them. You sure wouldn’t know that Maddy has a 99% success rate on rooting a tray! Life skills, hard work and being an entrepreneur is a big part of our parenting model and today I felt proud! So thank you! They see a lot of the behind the scenes but to share this live experience was wonderful and I appreciate all of you and your continued support to our farm💕
