There is so much pressure online to follow the “perfect” wedding timeline that it can make you feel like you’re already behind before you’ve even begun.
The truth? Most brides have no idea when they’re supposed to start dress shopping and that’s completely normal.
We recommend beginning around 10–14 months before your wedding because it gives you the most choices and the least amount of stress. But we’ve celebrated yes moments with brides who had over a year to plan and brides who needed one same day.
There isn’t one perfect timeline.
