The Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center is a multifaceted arts and community center that provide

An open call for art for local Aberdeen and surrounding artists presented by and hosted at the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center Gallery.

"Of the Eldritch and the Macabre" - Any art that explores themes of supernatural, cosmic horror, dark folklore, mystery, dread, symbolic darkness, gothic aesthetic, and beautifully unsettling.

All 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artwork are welcome, with some guidelines.

Artists must fill out all the appropriate paperwork to accompany their artwork. Physical copies of these forms can be picked up at the ARCC Desk at: 225 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen, SD

Submission Deadline is: Wednesday, September 16, 2026

Aberdeen Municipal Band - Thursday, July 30 - LOCATION CHANGE!!

Due to the threat of inclement weather the Aberdeen Municipal Band Concert for Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. has been moved to the Aberdeen Civic Theatre (212 2nd Ave SE - ARCC Complex)

Melgaard Park Activity will also be held in conjunction with the Aberdeen Municipal Band Concert at the Civic Theatre
