This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Event Service. Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.

Mercelina Events offers a range of event planning services from full event planning to month of coordination and the day’s Event. Mercelina will plan and execute an event with her excellent project management skills and use her keen eye to make sure everything is elegant and chic.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
• Greet guests and provide a memorable and pleasant experience
• Seat guests and assist with general directions throughout the venue
• Participate in a door guard or elevator rotation position
• Check and scan tickets / invitation cards at entry points
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required competence, skills and attitudes
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 20 years of age
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
• Strong oral communication skills
• Ability to climb up and down stairs at varying inclines
• Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
• Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible schedule – candidates must be able to work 90% of all monthly events; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Neat, Clean, Smart and Organized
