It seems like everyone is chasing the ‘new’ sound to stay relevant… which is a pretty understandable and pragmatic approach.

Life moves fast. Trends shift. Sounds appear, peak, and disappear almost overnight. In a landscape like this it makes sense that many DJs look for the next wave before the previous one fades.

For us the process has always been a bit different. Less about adapting quickly and more about listening. Testing weight and tension. Letting ideas breathe long enough to reveal whether they actually carry something real.

Instead of common patterns and working formulas that today is one, tomorrow another, we’re drawn to sounds that hold density, depth, and meaning.

Because when music starts following trends too closely, it slowly turns into tool or fast food instead of discovery. And discovery has always been the reason to do this in the first place, isn’t it?
