《進駐的痕跡——身體、物件、記憶》系列活動—
駐村之後：創作歷程、地方經驗與表演實踐 / 獨角偶戲《SNAIL》演出

上週六我們和 Jae 帶著獨角偶戲《SNAIL》來到新竹鐵道藝術村，讓這件作品再次與不同的空間、觀眾相遇。
蝸牛緩慢的步調，徐徐向前，在行進的過程中，為每一次觀察留下一些成長的痕跡。在一步一步的移動之間，也為沿途的觀察與相遇留下痕跡。
原本的展覽空間，也因此轉化成一個流動的演出場域，身體、物件、記憶與觀眾，在其中交織、相遇。
對不少新竹的觀眾來說，這也是他們第一次觀賞偶戲。從一開始的好奇與觀察，到驚喜、笑聲，慢慢走進《SNAIL》 溫柔又充滿想像力的世界，也在作品裡找到屬於自己的投射與連結。對我們來說，這些觀眾與作品相遇的時刻，就是非常珍貴的駐村痕跡。
也許，這就是駐村有趣的地方。藝術家來到異地，在這裡生活、創作，留下作品，也留下許多難以被具體記錄的感受與記憶。
而當作品離開當地，繼續前往下一個地方，它又會遇見不同的人，產生新的記憶，甚至成為某個人第一次與偶戲相遇的契機。
駐村不會在藝術家離開的那一天結束。作品會繼續前行，想法會繼續延伸，記憶也會留在曾經遇見的人心裡。
而那些曾經在利澤發生過的事，也許會以我們意想不到的方式，在某個地方再次發芽。

On Saturday, 15 August, Jae brought SNAIL to the Hsinchu Railway Art Site as part of Traces of Residency – Bodies, Objects, Memories.
Moving slowly, listening closely, and allowing space for encounters, SNAIL transformed the exhibition into a living performance landscape, where body, object, memory, and audience could meet.
What made the afternoon especially meaningful was the audience. For many people in Hsinchu, this was their first time experiencing a puppetry performance. We were delighted to see their curiosity, surprise, laughter, and enjoyment as they entered the gentle and imaginative world of SNAIL.
Perhaps this is also what residency can do: an artist comes to a place, leaves a trace, and that trace continues to travel—meeting new people, creating new memories, and sometimes becoming someone’s very first encounter with puppetry.
For Lìzé Puppet Art Colony, residency does not end when an artist leaves. Ideas travel. Memories remain. Works continue to grow, change, and find new places to be experienced.
