Recently went to the Shimen Arch Bridge accompanied by friends to shoot the sunset there. I was bringing in quite alot of artillery (camera equipment) - approx. 40kg of it. There were a few challenges though, one was the tide water, which I had researched in advance, but it happened faster that I predicted, so I had to move all my big camera setups... twice! 😌 Each move also meant restarting to shoot from scratch 😵💫 Another, more unforseen hurdle, was the number of people there. The stretch of the beach is quite large, with plenty of space for everyone, so I picked a spot with no people infront of me. But somehow that only made people more eager to be in my frame 😬😂 The sunset itself was beautiful (quite common, as this was 2 days before a typhoon reached Taiwan) - I am however a bit worried if I can recover my hard work in post production enough to remove alot of people walking right infront of the lenses all the time. It was close to 40 degrees this day, really hot (but I love that 😍) - and we arrived around 3pm and left after 8pm, so I really hope I can do some magic later on to turn this into a epic timelapse.
