🇹🇼 From Taiwan to the World|Team Taiwan
很開心看到 ACADA 官方分享了我們這次在澳洲完成的巨型糖藝作品 《Sanctum & Infernum》。
這次作品的人物概念,靈感來自 Taylor Swift〈Look What You Made Me Do〉,以「天堂與地獄、光明與黑暗」的強烈對比,延伸出我們自己的角色與故事。

So happy and proud to see ACADA officially sharing our large-scale sugar art installation, “Sanctum & Infernum.”
The character concept was inspired by Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” exploring the contrast between heaven and hell, light and darkness, and transforming that inspiration into a story of our own.
From the first idea to bringing this 3 × 3 metre installation to life on the international stage, the journey was filled with countless discussions, revisions, challenges, and unforgettable moments.
A heartfelt thank you to every member of Team Taiwan and to everyone who supported us along the way. ❤️
We are incredibly proud to bring sugar art from Taiwan to the world. 🇹🇼
Proudly created by Team Taiwan.

Congratulations Team Taiwan, this was indeed a piece of incredible edible art which you should be so very proud of.
The Battle of the Sugar Giants are one of our favourite features at the show. It's designed for elite decorators or those who truly want to challenge themselves. It's a part of the overall competition, however judged by the public.
I don't think most of the visitors to the show realise what a huge effort every competitor in this extreme decorating class faces. However the rewards are definitely worth it.
Not only does the winner win a significant monetary prize (AU$1,000) many of our BSG winners gain global recognition and receive invitations worldwide as extreme cake sculptors after competing.
We will feature a story about the BSG history after we finish wrapping up the show. It will include the incredible pieces of edible art that have been entered into this category over the years They are truly worthy of being showcased in an art gallery or a museum. Some have been as large as 6m x 6m and transported huge distances.
The BSG presents challenges that the public definitely wouldn't be able to comprehend. Each contestant must create their exhibit offsite, transport it to the show and construct it unually unassisted in a very short timeframe. This year extra time was permitted. In the past all contestants have been individuals.
This year Team Taiwan (led by Changyi Lan from ) was not only our first large team entry, this piece was created and transporting from overseas. The BSG is about facing and overcoming huge obstacles. It's designed to seriously challenge every competitor, this team definitely rose to that challenge.
Regardless of where in the world the competitors are based, the rules for competing remain the same for all competitors. This is a competition where all competitors must be totally self sufficient.
Congratulations Changyi Lan and Team Taiwan the proud 2026 BSG winners. As advertised in the competition schedule when the competition opened, the winners were announced and presented with their winners trophy at the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards. Everyone was invited. What an incredible night!
