During a recent visit to Honest Store in Maple Community, Wuri, we learned how to make eco-friendly soap with used cooking oil. This is not only a step toward sustainability but also a heartwarming journey of connection with elders. 👵👴 Honest Store serves as a cozy community corner and a stage where seniors reclaim their sense of purpose. With their hands, they give waste oil a new life, and we carry this eco-wisdom with us as we head to our summer travel destination abroad — letting this green power cross borders. 💪🌍

✨ YCF志工日記：陪伴與收穫 ✨

我們與YCF的孩子們一同生活，從清晨五點起床、送他們上學，到傍晚陪伴學習、嬉戲聊天，直至夜晚的睡前禱告，每一天都充滿笑聲與感動。

這裡的孩子比同齡人更加獨立，學習料理、打掃。他們不僅懂事、會主動幫忙，還非常聰明，語言切換自如，思維靈活。

「相遇是緣分」，期待未來能再訪YCF，與這群孩子重逢！感謝院長的照顧，讓我們成為溫暖大家庭的一部分 ❤️

✨ YCF Volunteer Diary: Companionship & Growth ✨

We lived alongside the children at YCF, starting our days at 5 AM, sending them to school, and spending the afternoons studying, playing, and chatting until bedtime prayers at night. Every day was filled with laughter and heartfelt moments.

The children here are more independent than their peers. They learn how to cook, clean. Not only are they sensible and willing to help, they are also very smart, can switch languages ​​​​fluently and have flexible thinking.

“Meeting is fate.” We hope to visit YCF again in the future and reunite with these wonderful children! ❤️

位於布里斯本陽光海岸的努薩國家公園以其生物多樣性聞名，是近幾年熱門的度假勝地。漫步國家公園，蟬鳥相鳴，嚶嚶成韻。動作迅速的小蛇、慵懶曬太陽的火雞和嬉戲的烏鴉，為沈靜的國家公園注入生機。雖然觀光客眾多，但沙灘非常乾淨！我們觀察到每位遊客在離開時，都一定會帶走垃圾。由此可見，大家對環境保護的重視。此外，國家公園沒有過多的人為開發，保留了最原始自然風貌及動物的棲息地。人類與動物在這裡和諧共存。
Noosa National Park, located on the Sunshine Coast near Brisbane, is renowned for its biodiversity and has become a popular vacation destination in recent years. As you stroll through the park, the chorus of cicadas and birds fills the air. Here, you can see agile snakes, sunbathing turkeys, foraging seagulls and playful crows bring vitality to the park.
Despite the large number of tourists, the beaches remain clean! We noticed that every visitor made sure to take their trash with them when they left, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental protection. Moreover, the park had minimal human development, preserving its natural landscape and providing a safe habitat for wildlife. Here, humans and animals coexist in harmony.

今天澳洲團隊有幸參訪了駐布里斯本台北經濟文化辦事處與僑委會昆士蘭台灣中心，並與兩地的長官及主事進行了簡單而充實的會議交流。深深感謝長官們的熱情接待與支持，不僅耐心地聆聽我們的分享，還提供了許多寶貴的建議和資源，讓我們對台灣人民在海外的工作與生活等方面有了更深入的了解，同時也見識到海外僑胞群體令人感慨的凝聚力。
在此，再次向辦事處及台灣中心的所有長官表達最誠摯的感謝。

Today, the Australian team had the honor to visit the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and the OCAC in Queensland, and had a simple but fulfilling meeting with the heads and directors of the two places. We would like to express my deep gratitude to the chiefs for their warm reception and selfless support, who not only patiently listened to our sharing, but also provided us with many valuable suggestions and resources, which gave us a deeper understanding of the work and life of the Taiwanese people overseas, and at the same time saw the emotional cohesion of the overseas Chinese community.

On January 11, we had the opportunity to experience the entire process in the Dig In kitchen—from heating food to distribution! The overall experience was fun and stress-free, with a relaxed working environment. In the kitchen, we worked together efficiently—some handled the chicken and mashed potatoes, while others took care of the fruits and vegetables.

During the final interview session, we also gained a deeper understanding of Dig In’s operations, as well as the sources of its funding and food supply. Thank you, Dig In!

今天是抵達泰國的第一週，回顧這幾天的點滴，真的充滿了新鮮與驚喜！

拜訪了幾座充滿歷史氣息的寺廟、洞窟探險，逛了市集與熱鬧的夜市，品嚐了各式各樣的當地小吃。

每一道料理都讓人驚豔，最難忘的泰式炒河粉「Pad Thai」，帶著酸甜和濃郁香料的味道，讓人回味無窮！😋🍴

除了美食，我們也嘗試體驗了當地的交通工具。坐上開放式的雙條車，感受完全不同的交通氛圍。🚥🚍🛺

期待接下來的日子，繼續發現更多屬於這片土地的美好！

It’s a week since we arrived in Thailand. Everything has been so fresh and exciting!

Set out on a series of adventures: visit historical temples, explore caves, stroll through bustle markets and vibrant night bazaars, and taste a variety of local snacks.

Our favorite was “Pad Thai”. The combination of tangy flavors and aromatic spices left a lasting impression!

Looking forward to the days ahead and discovering more of the beauty this land has to offer!

「強化與東協及南亞國家合作交流計畫–訪柬埔寨金邊」

‼️想要出國🛫又不想花很多錢嗎❓️
🔆那這個交流計畫非常的適合你，你可以透過這個計畫打破之前大家對柬埔寨治安不好、詐騙集團很多等刻板印象，還可以藉此機會參觀當地台商和體驗當地生活方式
而這麼難得的機會該如何報名呢❓️

1. 計畫內容：
✨️ 參加實體工作坊：周四下午6:30～8:00，共10次（❗️❗️缺席2次取消資格❗️❗️）
✨️ 參加SDGs競賽：個人或團體
✨️ 主題探討與簡報：紡織業對於廢棄材料之處理；企業供應鏈之運作、風險管理與布局全球之策略；台商在海外之企業社會責任實踐與社會影響力。
✨️ 訪柬埔寨首都金邊台商
2. 報名資格：逢甲大學台灣籍大學部學生、不限年級及科系
3. 補助金額：25,000.- /每人（含機票+部分生活費）
4. 錄取人數:   25人
5. 時程：
✨️ 報名時間：2025年1/11 ～2/10（一）11:59 PM
✨️ 中文面試時間會再公告於學海IG
✨️ 錄取公布時間：2025年2/24（一）
✨️ 出訪時間：暫訂2025年6月19日～7月4日（共16日)

Thailand team together with five partners, we are about to embark on a journey to a children’s charity organization called YCF in Chiang Mai. During this journey, living alongside them to gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and their needs.

Thank you to all the teachers and friends for your generous support, which has allowed us to successfully collect a wealth of stationery! This includes the help from Taichung Reborn church.
After spending an afternoon sorting and packaging, we are now ready to take all the donated items to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to provide education and service for the children there!
