竹籟文創-一個為了台灣竹產業復興，繼續努力做有意義的傻事的傻人品牌。

2016年二代返鄉協助轉型，從沒有工廠沒有系統，只有一張營利事業登記證開始，在進口竹製品低價夾擊與復興政策尚未出現的困境下，篳路藍縷、點點滴滴的為臺灣竹產業找出路，並引進專業分工，是臺灣竹產業第一家脫離傳統家族經營的中小企業。 致力於尋找並研發竹材的大量應用方式，以改善偏鄉老中青以及更生人與弱勢家庭工作與經濟不穩定的困境，但即使在2018臺中花博竹跡館、2019桃園農博五腳亭都有很好的表現，也不敵新冠肺炎疫情帶來的傷害，但多虧了疫情時戶外裝置藝術全停，發現到過去臺灣的燈會、博覽會等都不是穩定的內需，也才能發現政府過去四十年在竹產業的政策一直著眼在竹工藝品、文化創意，沒有往如何大量使用竹子這個材料的角度來協助輔導產業，這就是主因。

因此，將研發重心放在竹材在公共工程的利用，還成功開發出臺灣第一個有抗風係數可模組化更換元

件的竹公車亭和全球第一張可模組化更換元件的竹公共長椅。並受邀參與政府竹產業發展諮詢小組，協助訂定新興竹產業大綱國家級政策。此外還擁有超過1,200公頃的竹林碳匯，以供需要碳權的企業來認購，同時也成功發展出生物炭、竹醋液等固碳技術應用。

2016年返鄉至今，已經為臺灣偏鄉包含老中青以及更生人與弱勢家庭創造了超過兩萬人次的日薪就業機會，減少地球五萬公斤的二氧化碳。 在碳中和、碳權、ESG、SDGs這些名詞尚未出現在臺灣前，就一直秉持地方創生的精神在協助偏鄉產業翻轉，在這些名詞出現後，完美的直接對應。

2021至今新增了農林碳匯計算、碳盤查與碳資產管理輔導與國際證書開課、ESG企業輔導，是目前臺灣竹產業中，第一家擁有碳資產管理能力、得到諾貝爾獎尤努斯教授社會企業競賽優選、被收錄在林業署以及南投縣文化局出版品的團隊，更是首家受邀站上韓國全國地方創生大會發表演說，唯一同時具備地方創生、淨零排碳、永續循環策略的全方位竹企業。

2024年啟動了與南非Bio Agri生物炭集團的合作洽談，2025年，在康寶藥膳餐飲股份有限公司董事長康騰元先生的投資下，成功入股南非Bio Agri生物炭集團45%股權，取得全球唯一一台歐洲CSI(Carbon Standard International)認證的載具式農林剩餘資材生物炭碳信用機全球總授權，更取得設備圖面與全球專利保護，讓台灣可以成為生物炭碳信用技術輸出國，不需再依賴外購設備。

已不再侷限於竹產業發展，協助全球把溫室氣體捕捉下來達到負碳排，是我們的願景。

Bamboo-Lai – a brand dedicated to doing meaningful, albeit seemingly foolish, things for the revitalization of Taiwan's bamboo industry. In 2016, the second generation returned to their hometown to assist in the transformation. Starting with no factory, no system, and only a business registration certificate, they persevered despite the challenges of low-priced imported bamboo products and the lack of revitalization policies. They painstakingly found a way forward for Taiwan's bamboo industry, introducing specialized division of labor. They were the first small and medium-sized enterprise in Taiwan's bamboo industry to break away from traditional family-run businesses. They are committed to finding and developing ways to utilize bamboo extensively to improve the employment and economic instability faced by the elderly, middle-aged, and young people in rural areas, as well as those facing rehabilitation and disadvantaged families. Even with strong performances at the 2018 Taichung Flora Expo Bamboo Pavilion and the 2019 Taoyuan Agricultural Expo Five-Legged Pavilion, they couldn't withstand the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the pandemic's suspension of outdoor art installations revealed that past events like lantern festivals and expos in Taiwan were not stable sources of domestic demand. It also highlighted that the government's policies for the bamboo industry over the past forty years had focused on bamboo handicrafts and cultural creativity, neglecting to support the industry through the extensive use of bamboo as a material – this was the main reason for their success. Therefore, the company focuses its R&D efforts on the utilization of bamboo in public works projects, successfully developing Taiwan's first bamboo bus shelter with modular, replaceable wind-resistant components and the world's first bamboo public bench with modular, replaceable components. It was also invited to participate in the government's bamboo industry development advisory group, assisting in the formulation of national-level policies for emerging bamboo industries. Furthermore, it owns over 1,200 hectares of bamboo forest carbon sinks available for companies requiring carbon credits to purchase, and has successfully developed carbon sequestration technologies such as biochar and bamboo vinegar. Since returning to its hometown in 2016, the company has created over 20,000 daily-wage jobs in rural Taiwan, including for the elderly, middle-aged, young, rehabilitated individuals, and disadvantaged families, reducing global carbon dioxide emissions by 50,000 kilograms. Even before terms like carbon neutrality, carbon credits, ESG, and SDGs existed in Taiwan, the company upheld the spirit of local revitalization, assisting in the transformation of rural industries; its efforts have been perfectly and directly addressed since these terms emerged. Since 2021, the company has expanded its services to include agricultural and forestry carbon sequestration calculations, carbon inventory and carbon asset management guidance, international certification courses, and ESG enterprise guidance. It is currently the first bamboo company in Taiwan with carbon asset management capabilities, a team selected in the Nobel Prize-winning Muhammad Yunus Social Enterprise Competition, and featured in publications by the Forestry Agency and the Nantou County Cultural Bureau. It is also the first to be invited to speak at the Korea National Local Revitalization Conference and the only bamboo company to simultaneously possess comprehensive strategies for local revitalization, net-zero carbon emissions, and sustainable circular economy. In 2024, negotiations began with a collaboration with South Africa's Bio Agri Biochar Group. Kang Teng-yuan, Chairman of Kangbao Medicinal Cuisine Co., Ltd., the company successfully acquired a 45% stake in South Africa's Bio Agri Biochar Group, obtaining the world's only licensed European CSI (Carbon Standard International) certified carrier-based agricultural and forestry waste biochar credit machine. It also obtained equipment drawings and global patent protection, enabling Taiwan to become an exporter of biochar carbon credit technology without relying on imported equipment. 感謝國立台灣工藝研究發展中心的引薦，今天早上的新加坡電視台拍攝，就在雨中凌晨05:30啟動開拍，我們的Biolyser在雨天的作業，也相當順利。

也感謝我們延正社區的幾位農民好友協助，願意施作符合歐洲CSI組織標準的生物炭於田裡，同時配合拍攝作業，雖然因為時間關係，新加坡拍攝團隊沒有全數採訪，但大家對於國際標準生物炭施作的支持，再次感謝！

也從導演今天的發問才知道，原來我們在做的事情，對他們來說，是重新下定義的人。

昨天早上在台北101和KMPG新加坡的洽談，也相當的順利，這幾天的任務，都和新加坡以及雨水很有緣。

竹子內層的薄膜是相當脆弱的，在生物炭製程以往的技術中，像是草、葉子等生物質，沒有辦法作為碳移除使用，相當的可惜。

同時，木頭或竹子的生長是需要以年來計算的，但是草類卻是相當的快速。

很感謝有這樣的技術，讓我們連竹膜都能做成生物炭，進而延伸至草、根莖植物類都能協助地球氣候救援，同時也因為是南非Bio Agri生物炭集團的營運團隊，藉由現有的原廠國際商業網路，不再侷限在台灣，而是直接對接全球CDR碳移除市場，只要有農林業剩餘資材的國家，就有我們可以發揮的舞台，並創造當地的就業機會。

“A World First in Biochar Finished Products”

The thin membrane inside bamboo is quite fragile. With past biochar processing technologies, biomass such as grasses and leaves could not be used for carbon removal, which was truly unfortunate.

At the same time, wood or bamboo takes years to grow, whereas grasses grow very quickly.

We are very grateful for this technology, which makes it possible to turn even bamboo membrane into biochar—and to extend this capability to grasses and root/tuber crops so they, too, can help with climate relief for the planet. Moreover, because we are the operating team of the South African Bio Agri Biochar Group, we can leverage the manufacturer’s existing international business network. We are no longer confined to Taiwan; instead, we can connect directly with the global CDR carbon removal market. Any country with residual materials from agriculture and forestry is a place where we can contribute, while also creating local employment opportunities.

竹の内側にある薄い膜は非常に繊細です。従来のバイオ炭加工技術では、草や葉などのバイオマスは炭素除去に活用できず、それは本当に残念なことでした。同時に、木や竹は成長に年単位の時間を要する一方で、草は非常に速く成長します。

「亞洲第一台在台灣-歷史性的一刻」

今天早上07:30，準時接到高雄港出發的貨櫃車司機來電：「賴先生，我到了」。

經過將近兩年的跨國討論，橫跨瑞士、南非、台灣，三個不同時區，歷經將近一個月的海運，「亞洲第一台」移動式生物炭碳信用設備今天終於正式加入我們裝備的行列了！

台灣與大陸的生物炭的設備很多，但我們最大的差異是：

2. 國際商轉成熟技術

2016年我們秉持航空業的標準試著為竹產業翻轉，這過程一言難盡，但沒想到五年後台灣才開始出現ESG議題，之後ESG的相關行動就如雨後春筍般冒出，但因為我們希望把竹產業導回正軌進而創造就業機會的努力過程，證明我們不是為了做而做，也多虧了一路的歷程，被原廠大股東主動邀請加入團隊，而在我們還未受邀加入南非Bio Agri生物炭集團營運團隊之前，原廠本來就有「海尼根集團南非、法國農場、西班牙農場、ETG農業集團非洲、殼牌石油南非」等歐洲與非洲客戶，很榮幸我們是亞洲第一台!

而且，我們還取得了原廠授權設備圖面，除了可以在任何國家生產之外，還獲得了全球總授權！

籌備期間，包含大陸在內也有許多國家對原廠表達投資意願，感謝我們第一位天使投資人-台中康寶藥膳排骨康騰元董事長的支持，我們才得以將技術留給台灣，也讓台灣不需再依靠他國進口設備，正式成為生物炭碳信用技術出口國！

“Asia’s first unit in Taiwan — a historic moment.”

At 07:30 this morning, right on time, I received a call from the container truck driver who had departed from Kaohsiung Port: “Mr. Lai, I’m here.”

After nearly two years of cross-border discussions spanning Switzerland, South Africa, and Taiwan across three different time zones, and after almost a month of ocean shipping, the “first in Asia” mobile biochar carbon-credit equipment has finally officially joined our lineup today!

There are plenty of biochar systems in Taiwan and mainland China, but our key differentiators are:

1.Certified by the European CSI biochar organization
2.Proven, mature technology already commercialized internationally
3.The world’s only trailer-mounted biochar carbon-credit device (for designated countries)
4.Mobile at any time
5.Feedstock is isolated from the flame, allowing diversified use of a wide range of agricultural and forestry residues— even grass can be turned into biochar to speed up carbon removal for the planet
6.Fully self-sustaining operation with no need for electricity or fossil fuels

In 2016, we tried to help turn the bamboo industry around by holding ourselves to aviation-industry standards. The process is hard to describe in a few words. Unexpectedly, it wasn’t until five years later that ESG topics began to emerge in Taiwan. After that, ESG-related actions sprang up like mushrooms after the rain. But our efforts—aimed at steering the bamboo industry back on track and creating employment opportunities—prove that we weren’t doing this just for the sake of doing it. Thanks to the journey we’ve been through, a major shareholder of the manufacturer proactively invited us to join the team. Even before we were invited to join the operations team of South Africa’s Bio Agri biochar group, the manufacturer already had European and African clients such as Heineken Group (South Africa), farms in France, farms in Spain, ETG Agricultural Group (Africa), and Shell (South Africa). We’re honored that this is the first unit in Asia!

What’s more, we have obtained manufacturer-authorized equipment drawings. In addition to being able to produce the equipment in any country, we have also received global master authorization!

During the preparation period, many countries—including mainland China—expressed interest in investing in the manufacturer. We are grateful for the support of our first angel investor, Chairman Kang Teng-yuan of Kang Bao Medicinal Cuisine Pork Rib Soup in Taichung. Thanks to his support, we were able to keep the technology in Taiwan, enabling Taiwan to stop relying on imported equipment and officially become an exporter of biochar carbon-credit technology!

A “green, place-based revitalization TSMC” is taking shape— and the whole world is our playground for carbon removal and ESG!
