Fifteen years ago, I coordinated my very first weddingâand it wasnât just for any couple. It was for my (then boyfriendâs) big cousin, Candace, and her fiancĂŠ Ross. They entrusted me, someone fairly new to the family, with one of the most important days of their lives. That trust meant the world to me.
I was young, nervous, and honestlyâcompletely overwhelmed. I didnât realize how much work went into a wedding, especially when your bride lives abroad (letâs not even talk about the vendors who cancelled last minute, dress changes, venue issues, bubbles, and broken glasses đ
). At one point, I wanted to quit. I really thought I couldnât handle the pressure.
But then⌠she walked up the aisle. I saw the joy on their faces. I looked around and realizedâtheyâre getting married, and I helped make this happen. That was the moment I knew: this is what I want to do.
It hasnât been an easy journey, but in these 15 years Iâve learned so much, grown so much, and found confidence I never knew I had. đ
Thank you to each client that trusted me to handle your event, I truly am grateful đĽ˛
Hereâs to love, growth, and a future full of celebrations.
